1.) Open up a new document with a white background. Put whatever text you want on it with whatever font you wish. I used 60pt ‘Ariel’.

2.) Once you’ve done that, go to Layer > Rasterize > Layer. Go to Filter > Sketch > Chrome. Put the settings to the highest they can go.

3.) Hit Ctrl + I to invert the text.

4.) Filter > Sketch > Bas Releif. Use the default settings.

5.) Filter > Stylize > Emboss. Use these settings:
Height: 1
Amount: 500

6.) Hit Ctrl + F one more time to repeat that effect.

7.) Filter > Artistic > Neon Glow. Use these settings:
Glow Size: -1
Glow Brightness: 20

8.) Hit Ctrl + I to invert the text.

9.) Go to the layer style pallette. Put a 1px stroke using any color you wish. make it similar to the color of the gel but darker so that its not that intense but helps you read it. Also if you wish you can color the text by hitting Ctrl + U and hitting colorize.

You are done. My result is this:

Hi guys im new to this forum... I was just wondering Mini how'd you made your sig background. Was it a larger pick that you loaded and added the techno lines and see-thru border?

ok i know the problem. on your top option bar you must have it set to the little puddle looking setting (the one right next to the line). put it on the straight line picture.

heres a picture to help u out. set it to these settings.
