well heres how to make a decent Graffiti Text for a sig / wallpaper etc etc
1.make a document with any size (i choose 400 x 125)
2.get a GOOD Graffiti font (
graffiti fonts)
(i choose J.D)
3.Type your text, make it reasonably big (i.e 60pt if using JD)
4.go to the top of page and hit layer/layer style/stroke and make a stroke of 3px and the color black.
5.click gradient overlay at the side of the menu and open the gradient menu
and choose the box with the yellow line going through the orange,
put the scale to anything between 50 - 80

6.if you have to layers on the layers menu go to layer/flatten image
7.make 2 new layers
8.put the layer with the text on it at the top
9.simply magic wand the whiteness away from the texted layer so there no whiteness around the text
10.fill the bottom layer with a white background
11.click the middle layer and find yourself a grunge brush bigger than the text but not too big
12.click Layers/layer style/gradient overlay and choose the same as the text (yellow line through the orange)
13.now choose your grunge brush and press it on the text
14.it should now look something like this :

15.now click the brush icon

16.do what i have doen on the screeny and choose the highlited option

17.you should have some new brushes there, choose the Big Star brush and change your current color to white (#FFFFFF)
18.make a new layer and place it at the top of the pallet
19.now put on some Stars some where round the text and in the text..make sure you havent put too much in ( i would limit it to at least 2 -5)
20.choose the smaller stars and do the same as 19 but put some more in.
21.go to Layer/Layer style/outerglow and just leave the settings as they are and click drop shadow and leave the settings...click ok
heres what i got :

You can use this tut on much more stuff rather than jus graffiti
