ok... second tut...

1) Create new document... doesnt matter how big (i used 1024x768)

2) Using paint can, make backround black

3) Use Horizonal Type Mask Tool (right click in the type tool and its the empty 't' with a dashed outline), type your text (one word, its looks better)

4) Fill the text (using paint can) with white.

5) Duplicate the layer, title the new layer 'wind fx'

6) On 'wind fx' layer apply a filters->distort->polar coordinates (polar to rectangle)

7) Apply a filters->stylize->wind (wind, from left) hit ctrl+f 2 times (this does the wind filter 2 times) so you have done the wind filter 3 times on this side

8) Image->rotate canvas-> 180 deg

9) Hit crtl+f 3 times (wind filter 3 times, remember?)

10) Image->Rotate Canvas->90 CW

11) Ctrl+f 3 times (wind filter)

12) Image-> Rotate Canvas-> 90 CW

13) Filter-> Distort-> Polar Coordinates (rectangular to polar)

14) *OPTIONAL* To add colour create new layer paint can it the color of you choice and set the blending options of the layer to 'overlay'

Voila

I found a way to make it readable! yay!

Ok, so when you add the color, dont set the blending mode to 'overlay' or 'color' set it to 'color burn' and its very readable! :lol:
