and the forest guardian? she out of a job now or just that annoying nin who protects the akari forest but is still a tsuki nin?

actually its the Kansou forest, since Ajina is in the west with kansou.

so now do i go to kansou instead to protect that forest, go back and protect the akari forest, or stay at home since that plot twist is over?

no you serve Ajina, that means you go to where she directs.
