Okay Genjutsu is being changed a bit, pretty much it will be the same, all can still cancel Genjutsu but it can be easier for those who specialise in Genjutsu! Also only Basic Genjutsu can be used, that is the sight sense only, and only those that change settings. Meaning no Damage, Henge is still for all people. Also even Genjutsu specialsts cannot use more than 1 sense at a time. That's Majere's Genjutsu specialty, they are capable of effecting multiple senses at the same time

First the Pain system.

The pain system, is using pain on yourself to escape a genjutsu trap, this has to be used within 1 turn of being infected. This will not work on Eye Genjutsu, in otherwords Genjutsu created from Doujutsu. With the pain system your Defense+Genjutsu have to be 4/5 of the user's Genjutsu+Chakra Control. The pain system costs the cost of the genjutsu(1 x Cost) from Taijutsu and 1/4 of the genjutsu cost from health(.25 x Cost)

Now the Teammate Cancel is a bit different. It is fairly easy to tell when a person is caught in a genjutsu, a team mate must channel their chakra into you, to disrupt the chakra flow so a clear thought can be acquired. By doing this the team mate pays 3/4 of the Genjutsu Cost (.75 x Cost) and the user who is infected must pay 1/2 the Genjutsu Cost(0.5 x Cost). Now if there were 2 team mates using this cancel on you, each team mate would pay 1/2 the Genjutsu cost, and you would stay pay half.

Now for Kai, you will need Genjutsu Senjutsu and have it taught by a Genjutsu user who is Chuunin rank or above, those who are Chuunin or Higher and have Genjutsu Senjutsu may choose to keep it become a Genjutsu Specialist. Also Im making it an OOC rule that Sharingan CANNOT copy this.

I need Genjutsu and Ninjutsu ones updated on Ketsueki, and also the Kai. And on Aisuryuu I need teh Ninjutsu one updated. o.o;

Yeah.

The only way for anyone to keep Kai is to become a Genjutsu Specialist and either be Chuunin or above or have someone Chuunin or above teach them it.

Pain system is equivilent to Kai(Old version)

also remember, genjutsu will be removed except the most basics, meaning non-damage, only vision type. Meaning genjutsu like Henge and Bunshin and setting changing illusions. Only genjutsu specialists can use the others.

Well, if that's the case... Even Naruto learned to use Kai, and he's definately not a Genjutsu specialist. oo;;

actually he didn't learn how to use kai. naruto is told a lot of things he doesnt understand or uses.

Well he learned to "Assert your control over your Chakura" like he tried, yet failed, to do against Itachi. That's what Kai is, neh?

He was explained about Kai, doesn't mean he can do it, so no Naruto can't use Kai.

Overall this is better, it is more fair for Genjutsu users. Since before nothing stopped people from mastering in Genjutsu and other things. This creates more diversity and strategy. There is more options to people to cancel Genjutsu, so it's a bit easier now. Also to be a genjutsu user you must put the time and energy in.

I agree with that completely, but couldn't there be a crappier version of Kai for those who don't specialize in Genjutsu that would make it a lot harder to cancel it out, like 2x of the cost of the genjutsu instead of 1 or 1.25?

There is the Pain System and Team mate system, the pain system has 1.25 x Cost. Just like Kai did.
