These are other availible slots, but for Divination and Astronomy, I need to know if people want to take those classes. They aren't exactly "basic". Just vote or something, tell me what you think.

Quidditch Instructor - Madam Hooch
Nurse: Madam "Poppy" Pomfrey
Librarian: Madam Pince
Astronomy - Open
Divination - Trelawney

Convert $$ into HP Currency

Good Site with a Bunch of Useful Info

^ Some useful links we will definetly need. (I hope these can stay, they are rather important.)

The Astronomy professor's name is Sinistra, but not much else is known besides that she's a woman.

Billy Shears - June 21, 2004 08:08 PM (GMT)
I'm aware, but I thought (since almost nothing is known about her) that it would be cooler to create your own character.

um the first years have just been sorted right? I don't recall how it works I though the first years took the boat to the castle got sorted and stayed until the feast was over.. then they bring their stuff up? I'm a bit confused?

Cleric - June 21, 2004 09:21 PM (GMT)
It's in the fifth book, I remember they described it that they were sorted first because Ron stood up and said: "Hey you lot... midgets!"

DarkDestiny - June 21, 2004 09:54 PM (GMT)
I know they get sorted first in the books, but so far in the rp people have brought up their luggage to their rooms then went to the feast.. and if i recall right the feast happens right after they are sorted, in fact they first sit at their tables for the feast after the sorting hat yells out their house.

Billy Shears - June 22, 2004 12:48 PM (GMT)
Well, I'm pretty sure that's how it takes place. I've made it so we've already been sorted. So basically, we are all somehow or another going to arrive in the great hall for the feast in a minimum of two posts.

Cleric - June 22, 2004 01:34 PM (GMT)
Alright, corrct me if i'm wrong but you're all in Griffindor right? (Well i'm sorry if Ravenclaw suits me best) How am I going to start interacting with you guys?

Billy Shears - June 22, 2004 02:09 PM (GMT)
You're only a few tables away from us. You can but into a conversation somewhat easily.

Cleric - June 22, 2004 02:11 PM (GMT)
alright, i'll post after you guys get into a conversation and I have to correct you like the arrogant prick I am :)

Cleric - June 22, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
Oh, one question, will we be interacting with Harry and Ron and all of them...?

Ok, i lied, second question, would a fifth year and a sixth year and whole bunch of first years really be in the same class?

Ryah - June 22, 2004 09:02 PM (GMT)
I'm a Slytherin. My teacher is a former Gryffindor.

Billy Shears - June 22, 2004 09:37 PM (GMT)
Not particulary, but you can make up some crap like, "I'm doing it for leadership skills/extra credit."

Ryah - June 23, 2004 04:48 PM (GMT)
That might work. But Tom if you change to sixth year (I chose it because it's the year Harry will be entering come book six) then we'll be on the same level. Otherwise, whatever. I didn't think everyone would want to be first years. BTW, first years can't take Care of Magical Creatures. It's an option for Third Years and up.

Cleric - June 23, 2004 05:14 PM (GMT)
Eh, I think the variety will do us some good. Besides, one of the reasons I made him a fifth year was because he'd be particularily talented for his age.

Oh and is it possible for an American to go to Hogwarts (hell i'm still learning AMERICAN slang)

Ryah - June 23, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
I suppose so, although I imagine there'd be an American school of magic, seeing as how there's a French and a Bulgarian one. And first years still can't take Care of Magical creatures or Divination. And I won't take Divination.

Billy Shears - June 27, 2004 02:09 PM (GMT)
We have a situation. A lot of people need to get to class, these people are, LiLDaGgEr34, Balancer of the Universe, General Kurzt, Shampoo, and LP. So far, all of these people have posted at least twice except General Kurzt and Balancer of the universe, who have actually not posted at all. If they have not posted by the end of the 28th, then they will be dropped from this RPG. Shampoo, I am aware, is currently gone on a trip and will be gone for awhile. So we don't have to wait for her, I'll say her character is sick, or something. But LP and Lil Dagger must post within the next day, otherwise they literally get punished from McGonagall, like..clean her classroom. I don't want to make the more dedicated members of this RPG wait any longer.

Billy Shears - June 27, 2004 02:12 PM (GMT)
Aside from this, any one that is a 3rd year or higher may take the classes restricted to first years. You may explain it in your post, or simply say you have taken that class, so we know you have the knowledge in general. The scheduale in the first post of the RPG is mainly for first years, so it would be fine if older students wish to add classes to their scheduale.

Billy Shears - June 28, 2004 04:11 AM (GMT)
I would like to know if people wish to focus upon the House Points.

Aside from this, every once in awhile I'll make "Cheat Sheets" so to say. They will be a list of the information given in the classes.

Cleric - June 29, 2004 08:42 PM (GMT)
house points are cool

Billy Shears - July 27, 2004 06:06 PM (GMT)
This is starting up again. Jess is leaving, but I can't stop the entire RPG for her. There will be a reason for absence in the RPG for her char, but the rest of us go on.

DarkDestiny - July 29, 2004 01:56 AM (GMT)
I'm really sorry but i have too many rps right now. I have to drop this.

Billy Shears - July 29, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
That's fine, I know what it's like.
