Title: In A Big Country
Crossknight - May 19, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
((everyone read the sign up topic AND post in it, sorry to "mod" our concert, but it'd be easiest this way.))
*The denizens of the packed Tokyodome had been going crazy, the "American GoGo" tour had been long underway, the first opening band "VivaKatahajime" had just finished playing their fuse-acid rock tunes and got the crowd moving. A small Japanese woman in short shorts and a tube top ran out on stage to introduce the next band, Averule. Travis couldn't understand a thing she was saying to the crowd, but the bands instructions were as follows written on a small index card.
"Annoucner: I hope you enjoyed VivaKatahajime and here is the next highlight from the land out west." Travis never got that line, if you flew from california it'd be the land out east. "Give a rockin' welcome to Averule!" Rockin'? Heh, sounded like a child's party. Japan seemed like a joke to Travis, he had heard the news reports about all the different bands, giving the Tokyo citizen's who came out to what they called "The Big Egg" to see the concert an incite to all the band's and it's members.
"Travis; the quiet one who loves his music
Oleander; a freak who is unmatched on guitar--Travis scoffed at this line most
Bill; the wise old man whose beats hypotize the audiances--wha?! this is synth pop!
Seiko; the Asian-American sensation--How long did it take them to come up with that one, Travis thought.
Andrew; the bass ace with an appitite for parties and destruction, and he's single ladies!
David; the musical whiz whose always doing something new
And Dilly; well......she looks good!"
It must've been some sorta joke. Still, their album had gone gold here. And when he got on stage, Travis forgot all of that, he was just there to supply the music, and when the audiance got into that...well, that was coo and if they didn't, well....that was coo too. Even though he had wanted to move on to a different sound, Travis was probably seen by the members of the band as the one they can always turn to for support...and he didn't want to abandon that, so he kept up with their sound. It wasn't bad, he got to do something's with his axe that rock could never let him.
Regardless, the night was crazy, and before he knew it, Averule had finished playing all of the audiance's favorites "Slow Drug", "Lovey, Lovey", a cover of Hall and Oates' "Private Eyes" (Travis' personal favorite, he always really wanted to cover some Duran Duran pieces, though....they'd probably eat it up here in Japan), and a last song that he never quite remembered the name to, the crowd loved every piece, and Dilly made sure to include the audiance before each song. Quietly Travis left the stage, he really didn't feel like waiting til the end of the concert to leave, but he didn't want to deprive fans autographs at the same time, he was probably going to leave through the alley, but first he turned to his bandmates.
So...what you guys wanna do?
Billy Shears - May 20, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
David was ready for anything. His mind was in gear, and the adrenaline was still pumping. A slight grin was pierced to his face throughout the entire day. He had wished he had a plan, but basically his main idea was to do his best at the concert.
He chewed on a piece of gum lazily. David had always been chewing on something, after he tried his first ciggarete. He never became addicted, nor did he have more then one. He simply enjoyed the first one so much, that the urge to have another was almost like a dream to him. Knowing he would probably become truly addicted, he chews on something whenever he's able.
"I don't know man, I'm up for..whatever."
Slade13 - May 20, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
Bill did not respond at first. He was staring blankly at the floor and talking to himself under his breath.
"What the hell am I doing here... I've got to be the oldest person in this building by at least 20 years..."
Calmly he looked back towards the stage entrance. The crowd was still cheering for them.
"*sigh* I'm surrounded by dimwits..."
Turning away from the sound of the sold out venue, he stared at the people that he was to spend the next few months with. Day after day. Concert after concert. He was bound to them by a contract that he couldn't even remember signing. Not to mention he was being grocely underpaid. Finally he stared into Travis's eyes searched deep within himself for the right words and said:
"...I need a drink..."
tintenfisch - May 20, 2004 12:50 AM (GMT)
((south park plug number 1....well that's where I'm starting to count now))
"Yo dude's let freakin go out and tear up tokyo, we're only gunna be here for a little while" Andy rang in plucking the highest note he could while talking. "come on, it's tokyo man, everything's half english already, flashy noises and bright sounds ((that terrible grammer is done on purpose)) we could go to some sort of karate place and just blast the music away and see all the women come flocking right towards us. Well me mostly, I don't know about you guys" (invsions himself beng surrounded by woman and puts on a dazed face and spaces out). Andy began to laugh stupidly at the thought
Crossknight - May 20, 2004 12:51 AM (GMT)
((joe, follow the instructions my in first post, please))
Sm0Key M0unTaiN TaFFy L0gS - May 20, 2004 01:21 AM (GMT)
Seiko came running in backstage all pepped up and excited from all of the fans cheering their performance, it made him feel really appreciated. He looked around at his fellow band members and saw that they were at a loss for what to do with themselves and decided to try and cheer everybody up.
Hey wasn't that an awesome performance?! Man those fans really ate it up, Listen to them they still want more.
The only person who seemed to care was Andy who seemed to just agree with Seiko, David just kinda smircked and Travis did the same. Bill sort of just rolled his eyes, Seiko could tell that he wasn't very happy. Seiko decided to suggest an idea of what to do, "Hey why don't we go around Tokyo and see all of the tourist attractions, I hear that at night there are lots of colorful lights and displays, it could be lots of fun, What do ya say?"
Blue - May 20, 2004 02:46 AM (GMT)
::All her band mates had already gone backstage to meet, but Dilly was eating it up. She raised her fists into the air, and the crowd cried out wildly. Dilly laughed her green eyes twinkeling as her blond hair with a clip on blue streak in it fell into them. She wore a belly-revealing pink spegetti strap top, and purpousfully ripped and splotched jeans. It was the messy look that was so in style.::
::Dilly raised her ahnds again and the crowd cheered once more. She laughed. But then the announcer gave her a look that seemed to say "get off the stage for the next act dummy!" So reluctantly Dilly lowered her hands. But she didn't leave without yelling out across the crowd one last time, "Averule is number one!!"
::Finally she jumped behind the curtain landing back stage right into the middle of her band mates.::
"WHOO! Yeah! What a concert! Did you hear me NAIL that high note! Totally AWESOME! And Travis, NIIIICE on the guitar solo man! We KILLED em! TOASTED em!" ::She smiled happily then looked to her band mates. As USUAL, David was spaced beyond reach, Bill was a depressing bag of UN-fun, Travis was the only NORMALLY acting one, and Andy and Seko were the only happy fun ones. Dilly went over to Seko and Andy, her two best buds to hang with and raised her hand slapping them high fives weather they wanted to high five back or not.::
"YEAH RULED!" ::She cried. She then turned to Bill giving her classic distainful "I hate you" look.::
"You missed three beats in measure five of my favorit song, Deeper Then My Skin. THREE beats! I know you hate me, but REALLY, in the middle of my FAVORIT song?" ::Dilly scoffed, then turned back to the rest of the band.::
"So let's go PAAARTAAAY! We gotta selebrate yo!" ::She scampered over to Travis in her three inch high platform sketcher shoes. She leaned her hand on his shoulders.::
"Well fearless leader, where we going to ROCK?"
::Obviously she had bene too buisy with the crowd to be back stage in time to hear any of the previous suggestions.::
Sacrificial Hero - May 20, 2004 04:16 AM (GMT)
Oleander closed his eyes at the end of the show and walked back stage after only moments of listening to the roaring crowd. His sneakers squeaked on the floor backstage and his ears were ringing. He sat down on the floor with his guitar in his lap. He stared at the guitar as if he hated it. It seemed to be taunting him. "You could've played better." He imagined it saying to him. His bleached white hair hung in front of his face as he glared at the instrument.
"ROCK?" He said. "You think we deserve to rock after that show? GOD DAMN IT!" He jumped up and kicked the guitar across the room. "God damn us all! I missed three notes in "If you believe"! And the rest of you are acting like we played flawlessly!" He stomped off down the hall and kicked a fire door open, the alarm went off and the sprinkler system began raining water from the ceiling. He stood outside the door breathing the night air, it calmed him a bit. Violent outbursts weren't his way, but as of late they had been taking over and becoming more prevelant. He had begun to hate himself for any mistake he made in his playing and wanted to prove that he was good enough to be a lead guitarist. THe harded he tried, the more he screwed up and the more angry he became. Travis infuriated him most, he was just too good.
Blue - May 20, 2004 04:40 PM (GMT)
::Dilly only frowned a bit as the water rained down on her, making ehr make-up run and her bouncy hair become flat. She didn't seem to care too much.::
"Huh...I wonder what's with him lately. He's been moodier then usual." ::But thens he turned to Travis and the others.:: "Well, it's kinda cool that it's raining inside and all, but I TOTALLY think we should go out and ROCK! Because we DID rock tonight Despite Oleanders mood and Bill's sucky Drum beats." ::And with that she ran up to Travis once more.:: "So, once more...try not to look at my wet shirt and tell me where we're going to PARTEAY!" ::She said shamlessly. She was objectifying herself again she was aware...but she just couldn't seem to figure out how to flirt any other way! It annoyed her.::
Crossknight - May 20, 2004 07:05 PM (GMT)
*Oleander was doing his usual, throwing a fit, trying to make himself out to be some sort of serious artist, kicking around crap like a child.
Hey, don't kick that shit around, we need those instruments to last us the rest of this tour!
He could understand his aughish, though....Oleander had been working hard to try and "outdo" Travis for a while, now. And he hasn't succeeded yet, he didn't really know what the fans thought...but that was what truly mattered...
...the fans like the performance enough anyway, right?
Travis probably looked pathetic, trying to hold the band together, Fossil....er...Bill allready had one foot out the door. Seiko had suggested a tour around the Big Egg, and that seemed like a good plan, there was tons to do.
He shrugged back a bit shocked at Dilly resting on his shoulder, it didn't make him uneasy, but it probably did that to the band. He spoke with a stammer to her and the rest of the band.
Sure, a night on the town sounds great! You guys want to find a restaurant? He looked to Bill There's gotta be a bar somewhere around here...
Slade13 - May 20, 2004 07:31 PM (GMT)
"Don't worry." Bill said revealing a flask from his jacket pocket.
"I'm set."
The years of alcohol abuse were really taking their toll on Bill. Here he was only 43 years old and he didn't feel a day under 60. Bill was a big man, but most of the time he felt like the life was being drained out of him... Mostly by Dilly. Despite what she thought, he didn't hate her... She just bugged the hell out of him with all her criticisms.
'So I missed a few drumb beats' he thought to himself. 'With a hangover like this, I'd say I played pretty damn well.'
Water was still pouring down from the ceiling thereby drenching his long grey hair. Bill had his urges, but trying to light up a smoke in this building seemed pretty pointless.
Finally he sighed and turned back to Travis.
"You know what, I think I am up for going out to eat.......
Do Japanese restaurants give free refills?"
Blue - May 20, 2004 08:36 PM (GMT)
::Dilly broke into a huge smile at Travis's suggestion, then, not even waiting for Bill to finish talking, grabbed their leaders hand, and yanked him out the door.::
"That's a great idea! Let's go right away!" ::And with that, the band was on the move, going to the best restuarant they could think of to have fun in.::
((I was gunna do some descriptions, but I figured I'd give someone else a chance. Someone describe that bar/restaurant.!))
Billy Shears - May 20, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
David slowly swung his head towards Oleander. He wanted to start something a gracious amount more then he wanted to go somewhere to eat. Oleander's attitude caused him only fury. He put a negative aura over the whole group. He decided to shrug it off the best he was able.
"I saw a place on the way here, it looked pretty cool guys. I mean, people were lined up outside screaming to get in! Maybe we could muster up some special treatment huh?"
tintenfisch - May 21, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)
Andy was upset, he didn't want to go eat, he already had a few burgers before the concert. "I don't know, you guys can go to a resturant or something..I wanna go partyin and cruzin around town looking for a good time". Andy then figured 'well how long can they possibly eat for, and it's no fun byhimself, he needed others. "Alright lets go, but you better make it quick".
Andy made a smug face and crossed his arms and loooked at brasky "lousy old geezer"
Blue - May 21, 2004 03:57 AM (GMT)
((ok I'll do it! LOL))
"Don't worry Andy! We won't be here TOO long. I wanna party too! Tell ya what, I'll come party with ya after we eat. But I'm starved, so we gotta do that first." ::Dilly dragged the group into the bar/restaurant and plopped them all down at one large round table. The lights were low, and colored lights were placed on the cieling. Blues and reds rained down ont he band as they waited fora waitress to come over. There was a karaoke set up at the small stage past the bar, and some tone deaf lady was up there at the moment singing very LOUDLY! Dilly winced horridly.::
"Good GOD! I should go up there and show em what's what! ...but I need a burger first! HEY WAITRESS! COULD YOU BE ANY SLOWER!?!" ::Dilly shouted across the room. The aitres sindignated came over, and Dilly instantly started to order...it seemed like...everything on the menu. It was a waste really, there was no way she could eat all of it.::
Slade13 - May 21, 2004 05:03 PM (GMT)
Bill waited until there was a slight pause in Dilly's speach. He didn't care if she was done ordering or not, this was getting ridiculous.
"Since there's probably nothing left on the dinner menu, I'll have some scrambled eggs with some toast a side of bacon, and a bottle of your finest rum." A disturbed look soon eminated from the waitress's face, but Bill didn't take any notice.
"Oh and one more thing. Can you guys deep fry the bacon?"
Sm0Key M0unTaiN TaFFy L0gS - May 21, 2004 05:31 PM (GMT)
Seiko couldn't believe his eyes, here we were in Japan and Bill is ordering as though he were at a truckstop diner. "Dude why not order something that you can't get in a shitty diner, like a nice bowl of Udon* or maybe some Tempura* if you want something fried." Seiko then looked at the waitress and smiled with a hungry grin, "I think I will have some Kitsune Udon and some Mochi*. Oh and some Green Tea please."
Okay Udon is a bowl of soup, pretty much like Ramen but with thick noodles and big chunks of things thrown in, A hearty bowl of Ramen basically.
Tempura is Seafood and vegetables deep fried in tempura batter.
Mochi is a Rice cake.
Billy Shears - May 21, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
David winced at Dilly's attitude. He wanted to speak up and scold her, but he knew she would probably beat the hell outta him. Remaining silent, he tapped a waitress's shoulder as she strided by.
"Hey, couldja give me a plate of your best Sushi? Oh, and add the fruitiest alcoholic drink you have. Thanks."
The waitress gave him a dull, blank look. He nodded his head and turned back to the group.
"So where are we gonna head to party?"
Sacrificial Hero - May 21, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
Seeing that no one was speaking Oleander decided he'd order. "A glass of water...with ice." He was back into his median mood, not too depressed but not happy in any way. He closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat. The insides of his eyelids seemed to be painted with sheet music, he played along in his head until he got to where he had missed during the concert. The notes turnend red and the sound of badly played violins filled his head until he was forced to open his eyes to escape the music. Blinking once or twice he gazed around the table to see if they were done ordering yet.
Crossknight - May 22, 2004 01:59 PM (GMT)
((Joe you've gotta order))
*Well....this was embarassing, it was the first non-business stop the group had made in Tokyo a nd allready they were making asses out of themselves. We were making a specacle of ourselves...not good...finally, it was Travis' turn to order his food.
Um...I think I'll just have Kitsune Udon, too...Ramune to drink, please.
He looked to the rest of the group, his face fell into a sullen glower. He didn't want to repremand them...Seiko and David were doing fine, and Andy didn't even order yet. So he would have to keep his comments ambigoius.
Andy...order your stuff...
tintenfisch - May 22, 2004 02:53 PM (GMT)
"andy doesn't want anything, Andy craves for fun times, not food.....besides....I didn't even want to come to this place to eat anyway, Thnk I'll just sit back and ejoy the ride...wake me when you guys are done" Andy responded and slouched lower than he usually does. OF coarse he wasn't really asleep, he just did that to avoid ordering something.
Andy was bored out of his mind, dillies singing rocked teh house, but not much else was good enough to keep him interested.
Crossknight - May 22, 2004 02:59 PM (GMT)
Allright, let's try not to make a scene here, we've got a tour bus to make in the morning, remember that. Everyone ticketed their instruments for the loading hands so they don't pack away our stuff, right?
They were good guys, the band. He doubted Bill was going to start something...he was a bit worried about David....a fruity alcoholic drink? Way to look like an American dumbass....Oleander probably wasn't going to do much, he kept his mouth shut most of the time except when he's on stage. Still...it was a good concert, and the gang deserved to be rewarded. Travis stretched a bit, he was sitting next to Dilly and Seiko was next to him, with Bill, Oleander, and David on the other side of the table; Andy sat on the head of it. With a yawn, he again talked to the group.
We gotta go back to the dome and put our instruments away in our hotel rooms before doing anything, but you guys want to go to the entertainment park afterwards? They've got a bunch of stuff, a roller coaster too....just stay outta trouble.
Finally, the food arrived and Travis immediated started to eat his, it was hot but he didn't mind it that much.
This stuff isn't half bad, what do you guys think?
Billy Shears - May 22, 2004 03:14 PM (GMT)
David shoved a piece of shrimp into his mouth. His mind became boggled with it's lucious taste, but it still wasn't perfect. He took a soy sauce container and drenched his sushi in it. He was aware he looked like a fool, but David didn't mind terribly much. He took a sip of the drink and responded to Travis.
"It's really good.." He paused to chew, then continued. "I think we should definetly go to the park." He nodded his head almost as if he was agreeing with himself.
He could tell the drink was full of alcohol, so he only drank about a quarter of it. David didn't want to get drunk and ruin the rest of his night, well for now anyway.
tintenfisch - May 22, 2004 04:20 PM (GMT)
Andy immediatly srung up from his fake slumber and placed one foot on the table and stood up like a sailor lokig out to sea. "Hell yeah we're goin to the park, bout time someone was speaking my language" Andy was completly psyched for this, he'd always wanted to go to a japanese park, cause of all the cool things he heard about. "Travis I definatly owe yo for this one". Andy relized he was making a scene and slowly but surly sat down
"heh..whoops" he said with a nervous smile and hoped that no one else noticed. He rubbed the back of his head with his hand and then went back into his temporary rest
Blue - May 22, 2004 10:23 PM (GMT)
::Dilly was eating about the speed a race car could drive. And to everyone's complete surprise...she actually finished everything she had ordered. She let out a small burp, then sighed satisfactorily, slouching back in her chair.::
"Ahhhhhh! Good stuff! The park sounds GREAT!...do we really have to pack first. I HATE packing. Why can't someone do it for me?" ::Dilly raised an eyebrow and looked over to Andy who was slouched back in his chair eyes half closed. He looked so...unsuspecting. A small grin appeared on Dilly's face. She quickly took two straws from her empty glasses, tehn leaned over. She then pushed both straws up Andy's nose. She giggled profusly, knowing that he was the only one out of the group that she could do that too without him getting angry. In fact...he might even think it funny.::
"Andy the Walrus!" ::She laughed then elbowed Andy in his side playfully and in good nature.::
Sacrificial Hero - May 23, 2004 02:53 AM (GMT)
Oleander couldn't help but snicker at Dilly's display of sheer stupidity. "And we wonder why everyone hates Americans." He said sarcastically. Cracking his neck he finished his water. "Park sounds good, I could definitely go for a roller coaster." he scratched his head and threw the glass back once more to get some ice cubes into his mouth. He crunched them and swallowed, he was thoroughly refreshed and it seemed as though he had forgotten about the chords he had missed.
Billy Shears - May 23, 2004 03:23 AM (GMT)
David smiled, finally feeling slightly comfortable. Oleander showing the least bit of his feelings could truly make anyone feel at home. He was a very rigid kind of man. He rubbed his hands in a cloth and stood.
"I'm gonna make a trip to the bathroom. I'll be right back." He walked off, humming the song they had played recently.
Crossknight - May 23, 2004 03:55 PM (GMT)
*When David left for the bathroom Travis again looked at the group with a stare of distain, they had been wearing on his nerves...did they even care about the concerts ahead of them? It wasn't a big deal, at least we were all for having fun and there weren't going to be any wet blankets. Even Oleander was for the whole idea. Travis reached deep into his pocket and pulled out a small rectangle with swirling green lines that said "Nippon Ginko" on the back of it, a 1000 yen bill, his share of the dinner and tip, he ordered the least aside from Oleander and Andy.
With a sigh he threw it on the table and began to talk to the group.
Allright, I'll go back to the dome and pack everything up, you guys go have fun, I'll probably be done in like an hour.He reached into his pocket again and threw a small map of the Big Egg to the group. It was crumpled up and he wrote on it for a moment with a pen that was also in his pocket.
The park isn't very far from here....5 minute walk. He started up.
I allready paid for my meal, make sure they get all the money they need here before you guys head out. He got up and pushed past Dilly, who was in front of him and next to Andy and started toward the exit. He turned to the group again with a grin.
If you guys go on the linear gale or geopanic without me...I'll kill ya.*The Linear Gale and Geopanic are both roller coasters, the Linear Gale is the worlds first "hanging coaster" (like batman in six flags: Great Adventure) and the Geopanic is an extremly fast and dark indoor coaster.
tintenfisch - May 23, 2004 04:03 PM (GMT)
Andy's face brightened up at the sound of the park. "yippeeeeeeeeeeee, leeeeeeeeeeeetss go" Andy whooped jumping up with his 2 fists clenched tight in the air. Without even thining about the others Andy Sprung into action. He started running as fast as he could, a little to fast if you ask Oleander. Andy ran right past Travis and went right out the door and ran to the the map said.....or at least he think he did.
Andy was now standing outside the hotel "aaahhh I went the wrong waaaaaaaay" he yelled making a scene and grabbing his hair, then ran back to the diner, in all, it took him 3 minutes to get their and back. He was panting hard when he got back "maybe I should wait for the others"
Billy Shears - May 23, 2004 04:09 PM (GMT)
David walked out from the bathroom to see everyone leaving. He approached Oleander with unusual kindness and spoke up.
"Where did Travis go?" He asked, picking up a mint at the exit of the resturaunt.
Blue - May 23, 2004 10:01 PM (GMT)
::Dilly half stood, her smile vanishing instantly as Travis went to go. She started to reach for him, but then stopped herself. She'd look really dumb and clingy if she asked him to come with. She didn't really mind packing that much, she was just being her usual snotty self. Dilly sighed, then plopped herself back down in her chair letting Travis go.::
::The truth was, Dilly was the closest with Travis in the group, and sometimes she felt he was the only one who really understood her. Although she loved the rest of the band members...well...not Bill...but the others were fun. Having fun was great, it's what she did best, but every now and then...she grew sad. Probably because of her horrid childhood with her parents. And well...Dilly easily got lonely as well. Evan when she was joking around and acting stupid with Andy and Seiko.::
::Although Dilly couldn't comprehend it, or put the pieces together at that point in her life, this was due to the fact that her entire personality was built up upon falsitudes. The things she did and said, were almost NEVER reflections of how she really felt, or what she was really thinking. And Travis was so sincere anout everything. What he said, he meant. How he acted was linked to what he was thinking of feeling. He seemed...real, while everything else was so fake.::
::Dilly sipped her drink, not even knowing what it was. She didn't know anything about japanese food. It was good however. She knew that she'd be going to the park anyway, if not for the fact that it would hold up her shallow and ditsy reputation...which somehow was importaint to hold up.::
::Another thing she could not realize at the moment, was that she needed that fake personality to protect her real feelings from people. Especially the others.::
::Once Travis was gone and she could no longer see him, Dilly perked right up. She lept to her feet, looking to the others.::
"Well come on! What are we waiting for! Andy...you might want to actually take those straws out of your nose before going out again. You'll make us look funny. Come on gang!!!" ::She grabbed Seiko's hand, since he was the nearest to her and started dragging him out the door with her.::
Sacrificial Hero - May 23, 2004 10:12 PM (GMT)
Though they had all spent a lot of time together Oleander still had a hard time comprehending any of the band members. he knew little and wanted to know less about bill, honestly the guy scared him. Andy was just way too over teh top in how he acted, showing that he was probably hiding something. David was the onyl one he would really call a friend, but even he had his quirks. Seiko was an odd number as well, he was observant and calm, the latter of which Oleander could never hope to be. That of course left Travis and Dilly, he tried as best possible not to think of Dilly too much, knowing that she would inevitably be the reason that the band broke up, it was always women that made sure great performers fell before their time. Travis was at least honest, he had that going for him but Oleander despised Travis for his talent. When Oleander palyed his heart out and threw his entire soul into the music Travis would still outplay him one hundredfold in his sleep. Travis was a tremendous musician and that made Oleander Jealous.
He swayed back and catapulted out of his seat as if trying to wake himself up. He dug into his pockets and pulled out some crumpled yen. He payed for the rest of the bill and the tip seeing as he had no understanding of japanese money and wound up overtipping. He turned to David and with a nonchalant look asked him; "What do you say we jump on those coasters and piss Travis off? Tell him they sucked."
Billy Shears - May 23, 2004 11:37 PM (GMT)
David laughed, but then shook his head. "Nah man. Travis is my buddy, we should have a little patience for him. Well, for a little while..." He grinned, waiting for the group to move on. It seemed they were stuck in one place, he hoped they would arrive at the carnival soon. He was ready for a big rush.
Slade13 - May 24, 2004 01:32 AM (GMT)
"*hiccup* How much proof is there in whiskey again?"
Bill hadnt been paying much attention to what the rest of the band was talking about. Something about a roller coaster. Also, Travis seemed to have disappeared. Billl simply shrugged it off. As long as the rest of the band didn't leave with out him, he'd be able to remember where he was. As far as the roller coaster went, he wasnt so sure. He could hold his liquor pretty well, but if he was going to get twisted around and turned upside down, he couldn't make any guarantees...
Sm0Key M0unTaiN TaFFy L0gS - May 24, 2004 01:52 AM (GMT)
Seiko was really excited about going on the rollercoasters and was looking forward to having a really awesome time at the park. He looked over at Andy who, despite Dilly telling him he should take out the straws from his nose, still had the straws in his nose. "So what rollercoaster should we go on first?"
Aarkan - May 26, 2004 01:04 PM (GMT)
I walked through the crowded streets of Tokyo... Had just came from a concert by this new band called Averule. They were really good... I was heading down to the park nearby to meet some friends...
Then I froze... I couldnt belive what I saw..
"SEIKO!!!!" oh my god I couldnt belive it!
"SEIKO!!!" It was really him! My heart was beating so fast.
I ran towards them to get his attention...
"I love you SEIKO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Seiko quickly turned around to see who it could possibly be, once he looked back he saw that it was a fan who had just come from the concert. He smiled widely and said "Hey, it is nice to see such a big fan right after a show. What can I do for you? Would you like an autograph or Photo? or maybe both?" Seiko gave Dilly the fans camera and posed for a picture. Then Seiko took a picture the fan had of him and signed it. There you go! Enjoy" He turned back to the rest of his group members and said "Well that was interesting, Come on we are almost to the park I can see the Roller Coasters from here!!"

David laughed. "I can see them too man, they are basically right in front of us." He approached the large gates of the park. It reminded him of a christmas tree. Lights were hung in every square inch!
He walked onto the line for the ticket booth. Many people glared at the members, but none at him. He suddenly wished he was Travis..

Lagging behind the rest of the group, Bill arrived at the gates and stared up at the tall rollercoasters in the park. Everyone seemed really excited to go on all the rides, so Bill figured he might as well just go along with it. As he continued to look up, he felt the contents in his stomach begin to turn. Not only that, he could hear them as well. After drinking so much, going on a rollercoaster would be almost masechistic.
'meh. Whats the worst that can happen?'

After about fifteen minutes the group had moved up on the ticket line. An aged woman wearing large glasses stared blankly at him. David hesitating, wondering if she was even alive. Squinting his eyes, he looked closer at her.
"Do you plan on buying anything?" Her voice had a very raspy, asian accent.
David leapt backwards, bumping into the group member behind him. He sputtered for a moment, then organized his jumbled words.
"Oh! Uh..sorry. I would like an "All Access Bracelet".."
The woman made no attempt to be polite. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" from her. Simple, utter silence. David found it rude, but in a sense more frightening. He grabbed the ticket from the small hole and walked to the side of the line, waiting for the rest to buy their tickets.
