The thousands who had packed Madison Square Garden stood up, rocking the building to its very foundations as the MAN went through his poses and snorted smoke from his nostrils.

He threw two uppercuts that cut viciously through the air, and then remained on his feet after a shaky roundhouse kick. He sauntered down to the ring ferociously and awaited his challenger...

Spike Dudley enters the ring...

... and runs towards Goldberg, who in a show of strength first bench presses him, then twists it into a front powerslam. Gold berg lets loose with two huge clubbing blows as Spike begins to rise and then whips him hard into the corner. Rather than take the bump realistically like HBK, Spike slowly staggers out straight into a SPEAR~! The crowd erupts, and Goldberg answers by lifting Spike's carcass into a Vertical Suplex position with one arm. After stalling to soak in the cheers, Goldberg smashes Spike into oblivion with the JACKHAMMER~! The count is academic, and Goldberg has won his first challenge.

Goldberg goes from corner to corner and poses, basking in the adulation showered upon him. Goldberg then takes a mic, and addressing the back, eloquently asks for a new challenger, asking "WHO'S NEXT?!"

The GOLDBERG chants start up again as ___________'s music begins, signalling ________'s entrance into the Goldberg challenge!

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN

STONE COLD! BY GAWD! IT'S STONE COLD! TWO FINGER-SALUTE TO GOLDBERG! He goes for a kick to the gut, but before the wham, Goldberg catches the leg and spins Austin around. Austin staggers into a Goldberg press slam as the fans seem mixed in who to cheer for. a cover gets a two-count but Austin kicks out. Goldberg picks Austin up and sends him into the ropes, motioning for a SPEAR on the rebound but Austin connects with a Lou Thesz Press! Austin delivers mounted punches as Goldberg struggles to cover up, and it seems that the fans are getting behind Austin. He then bounces off the ropes, salutes the fans and goes to Drop the Hammer. Goldberg rolls out of the way (which Lita doesn't know how to do) , and shoots the fans an angry stare. The fans then turn on Austin when Goldberg crouches in the corner, charges out, and connects with a SPEAR~! Goldberg then poses, makes the cutthroat gesture and lifts Austin for the Jackhammer. Austin however, slips out the back and connects with a TEXAS-SIZED STUNNER~! Austin goes to the corner to taunt, but Goldberg no-sells the STUNNER~! and cuts him off. After a top-rope back drop, Goldberg lifts up a limp Austin, hits the JACKHAMMER~! and the count is academic. The fans seem to have gotten completely behind GOLDBERG, who then poses on each corner, kicks Austin out of the ring and awaits his next challenger.

The GOLDBERG chants began anew as THE MAN takes the mic, and once again forcefully questions, "Who's NEXT?"

The screeching of a car crash cut off Goldberg as hometown hero Mick Foley made his way down to the ring, wearing street clothes. Deadset on turning the crowd against Goldberg, McMahon hoped that Foley could do the job right here in NEW YORK! The Goldberg chants quickly morphed into thunderous applause and FOLEY chants as Foley continued to walk to the ring, with a 2x4 in hand. Goldberg stood ready, waiting, in the ring as Foley grabbed a mic...

Goldberg goes to pick him off the mat for the JACKHAMMER~! but the 2X4 of DOOM comes into play, busting Goldberg WIDE OPEN. Foley then staggers to his feet, and pulls Mr, Socko out of his pant pocket to a thunderous ovation. He stalks Goldberg who begins to get to his feet and then locks in the MANDIBLE CLAW! And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... He forces Goldberg down onto one knee... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... And he keeps the Mandible Claw locked on... The crowd is frantically calling for Goldberg to tap out, which would be the first time ever. Goldberg defiantly begins to stand up however. He waves his right arm around alot thereby generating power just like a wind turbine. He uses this new-found power source to light up his internal light bulb which allows him to realize that if he punches Foley he will let go. Goldberg then punches Foley. Foley lets go. Goldberg then whips Foley into the ropes and catches him on the rebound with a huge SPEAR~! A JACKHAMMER~! later and the fat lady up in the rafters is singing.

The fans seemed to turn on Goldberg in this one, and the fans are still chanting for Foley as he rolls out of the ring and staggers to the back. Once again, THE MAN takes the mic and asks the question on everyone's mind, "WHO'S NEXT?"

The HOGAN chants rock the building, and the ovation lasts for a few minutes before Hogan can stammer through a cliched promo. Long story short, Brutha this Dude that, 24 inch pythons, red and yellow, eat your "vitamins" (read: steriods) say your prayers and hope that 20,000 Hulkamaniacs show some mercy. Oh, and the standard close. "Hey dude, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do BRUTHA, when HULKAMANIA runs wild on you?"
And onto the match, which would probably be better if it was between Chris Benoit and a broom, but I digress. TEST of STRENGTH opens with Hogan and Goldberg taking HOURS to play to the crowd. HOGAN chants continue, Goldylocks (Thanks Dustin Rhodes) gets PO'd and a hude kick wham gives Goldy the advantage. Berg uses his power offense to the extreme, and between brief Hogan comebacks we see contests between them to see who can no-sell the most before somebody's back gives out. My bet would be on Goldberg because he's about twenty years younger and doesn't need a cane to walk. After a SPEAR~! Hogan decides its TIME TO HULK UP~! Hogan then goes through the motions of BEST OF HULK HOGAN VOL. 1 including the finger point, the finger wave, the Irish whip, the ATOMIC BIG BOOT OF ETERNAL TORTURE TO THE CALF (he made sure to lift his leg up really high with those pythons for this one) and then the ATOMIC LEG DROP.Cover, and shock awe horror, Goldberg kicks out. Hogan goes off the ropes looking for ANOTHER leg drop and Goldy mercifully SPEARS~! him straight into Canada for those cheap prescription drugs. A JACKHAMMER~! later, and Goldberg has sent Hogan back to the retirement home.

Goldberg then proceeds to pose and taunt. The fans however decide to chant HOGAN. This upsets Goldberg. This makes GOLDBERG ANGRY! YOU WOULDN'T LIKE GOLDBERG WHEN HE'S ANGRY! He then proceeds to beat the hell out of a fan, throws him into the ring and JACKHAMMERS~! him for good measure. 1-2-3, and that's the murder she wrote.

Paul London (can you really bring yourself to do it Jesse?)

"LET'SSSSS GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
And out comes Paul London to his old music, wearing his old red and blue tights. He also is wearing a mask to protect his broken nose (ala Chris Nowinski and Scott Steiner)
Goldberg whips London into the opposite ropes as he enters, and goes to lift him for a modified slam, but London flips out with a Dropsault. Goldberg quickly gets up again, and eats another Dropsault. London goes to the top, perhaps looking fo the Mushroom Stomp, but Goldberg catches him in mid-air and hits a huge Fallaway slam. A cover only gets two as commentary wondersd why London bothered to kick out. The kick-out seems to anger Goldberg, who rips the mask off London's face. Repeated blows to London's nose bust the blood capsule open and London's nose begins to bleed like crazy. Goldberg continues to soften him up with power moves, until setting London up in a Tree of Woe. Goldberg backs up and then rushes in for a SPEAR~! but London uses his legs to sit up. He then goes up top and catches Goldberg with the Mushroom Stomp as Goldberg staggers out of the corner. The fans are then fully behind London as he SLOWLY makes his way up the corner again. It looks as though he will go for the London Calling, however Goldberg has recovered enough to stand up and cut him off. Goldberg then nails London with a MASSIVE JACKHAMMER~! off the second rope, that took awhile to set up, and looked contrived but was well worth admission. The count was textbook, and yet another victim fell to GOLDBERG!

Medusa!

As the fans turn to stone, Medusa makes her way down to the ring. Goldberg quickly goes under the ring. After a few seconds, we see why, Goldberg is now wearing a full body suit of plate mail!. Medusa's stare reflects and turns her into stone! Goldberg then rolls out of the ring to retrieve a JACKHAMMER~! He rolls back in, and JACKHAMMERS~! her. Even though there are no refs or fans to count, Goldberg declares himself the winner three seconds later. He then continues to use the JACKHAMMER~! on her until she is broken up into pebble sized pebbles.
