Okay, so, I know, so far, there is no tutoiral here, but there will be, as this will be the chapter in which we get everyone acquainted to using the various systems. So... Here we go! This passage will be deleted when the RP goes public, because it's in BOLD! %^D But other italicized text will simply be me informing the players of how stuff goes down... And it's your way to ask me a question. Ask it in your post with italicized and bold text (so I delete the original text later), and I will italicize this question (restated) and an answer that comes up if it should be mentioned to help Newbies along.
Welcome! This is the first chapter in the Eternal Darkness RP, and, if you've not been here before, then hoorah! This is Chapter One. This is a sample done by the moderators for you, the public, to read, and address common questions
Chaos. It is the great defining moment. Without it, there simply is not. The strings of chaos are made with the strings of possibility... All possibility is, but not all possibility is permanently. And in the strings that bound the War of Eternal Darkness, there was only the inevitability that brought it about.
But its beginnings were humble... Strangely, starkly humble... Fought for eons before human eyes, there was soon a turning point... The possibility of embodied Chaos, in this strand, had gained favor. Now, on Earth, it, along with its adversaries began plotting... Plotting and manipulating the human race, slowly... Waiting for just the right moment to strike...
Ironically, their hatred for one another brought them all, except the Chaos itself, a favored decision buried beneath three bad. The chaos had no advantage, had nothing prepared in this shape... So it retreated, and could only watch as the moments began to unravel...
Unravel in the shape of a Caravan moving through the Middle East, guarded by four of the Roman Empire's best Legions. Nobles, servants, and military alike moved through this wasteland of deep canyons and sand dunes. Little did three of the caravan's participants know that they would be Chosen to begin the final chapter, humanity's chapter in the War of Eternal Darkness.

Name: Fenix of Naples
Age: Thirty-Six and One Sixteenth.
Physical Attributes: Fenix has a muscular body that shows signs of a life of hard work, going against his claims of spending his entire life in a monistary. Plain brown monk's robes covered his large body. His dark brown eyes are often parly covered by a mound of thick black hair comeing down to the middle of his neck. He has a modestly handsome face with very strong mediteranian features.
Personality/History/Skills: If asked by any who he travels with Fenix will say he has lived his entire life since the age of seven in a Monestary with his brotherhood of Christian monks, although his manner of speech and strong figure betrays this claim. His knowledge of biblical scripture and tradition seems to be lacking, but his faith is genuine and unshakeable, resaulting him his fearing almost nothing. He claims his lack of theological knowledge is due to spending most his time in the Monestary learning healing techniques, and this claim appears to be true because of his great medical skill. Fenix is quick to laugh and will make light of almost any situation, but when he sees any subject of being important to him he instantly becomes stern and calculated.

Age: 20
Physical Attributes: She is a dark beauty, her hair ebon with a deep blue sheen is straight and long. Her eyes are a deep bluse, so daek they're almost black. She is dressed in a long, billowing black skirt, a white chemise and a green bodice embroidered with suns, stars and moons. She wears a pair of black leather ankle-boots and a green cape with a hood. Her face is almost always hidden by the hood. She is slender and shapely, but strong.
Personality/History/Skills: Ran away from home to escape an arranged marriage. She has had many lovers, none of which she has ever loved. She can be scornful and bitter but she is a strong fighter. She likes to read and that is the only thing in the world that can bring a smile to her face. She knows how to fight and is skilled with an arsenal of weapons. She holds many secrets and much knowledge from travelling across the world. She can sail and ride. Her only wish is to settle in a small house with fields and a large library full of every book she can possibly own. She carves small wooden objects sometimes to pass the time when she's travelling. There is an air about her that is not completely benevolent. She has seen and done many things.
