Alright, I need ideas for the fauna of this world, I want the creatures inhabiting it to be similar to those on our own, but perhaps of a higher stage of evolution, stronger hide, faster, smarter, etc.

I just put super-deer..

Though before we go any further I just want to ask if anyone else is playing this as BLINDLY as I am. I have zero clue what the plot is and/or what our goals are. So are we just going blindly some more or is there some direction that we're supposed to be on?

Cleric - October 6, 2004 07:27 PM (GMT)
unknown to our characters they have been put on tahtw orld solely for a sadistic deity's entertainment, our goal is simply to survive, yet they do not know it

That's original.

Hmm...inventing ferocious, hardy new lifeforms designed to inhabit a harsh, alien landscape of which none of us know anything about? Yeah, I think I can do that.

I already have some ideas for some more minor creatures; the first one might not at all be very important, but paying close attention to detail is my thing, see. He could also serve a purpose if you know how to view it correctly. I'll post a pic and description this afternoon.

that works, suggestions from the rest of you will be greatly appreciated. Pics not nessecary, but would be helpful, i myself do not have a scanner so there ya go...

Name: unkown (affectionately referred to as a "Mood Lizard")
Size: An average of 1' 6"

(1) The creature posesses a myriad of eyes in a compound fasion upon the "crown" of its head. Because of this, it lacks peripheral vision and must crane his head to view anything to the sides of his head. The pattern, positioning, and number of eyes it posesses is individual to each creature and acts much like a fingerprint for the species.

(2) Its fleshy, clawed arms are very adept for climbing and affixing itself to the cortex of trees. The forearms do a majority of the creature's climbing.

(3) Unlike its forearms, its hind legs are much weaker are are more so used to adjust its grip when climbing and resting upon tree branches. The grip of the hind leg is very powerful.

(4) Much like its supposed cousin, the chameleon, this creature uses chromatophores positioned underneath its external epidermis triggered by internal temperatures fluxuations and neurological impulses to alter the color of its skin.*

Additional information: very common, are edible

*((This will be covered more in the RP itself))

WE CANNOT LET THIS DIE!

Aarkan - October 11, 2004 10:46 PM (GMT)
You're doing a lot to help it.

Al Kaholic - October 11, 2004 10:50 PM (GMT)
You're a pill, you know that?

Four days of inactivity does not mean the goddamn RP is dying; you've created enough failed gambits that you should realize this.

We'll get to posting when we're able and when we damn well feel like it. You didn't consider for one second that we might have more important things to attend to than a stagnant site, as you said??
