Title: Matt (G.) Vs. Heather

Billy Shears - August 22, 2004 12:39 PM (GMT)
((I think this was the next match right? I'll post after I get a confirmation from Sean.))

Sacrificial Hero - August 23, 2004 12:51 AM (GMT)
((All set for liftoff Matt))

Billy Shears - August 23, 2004 06:03 PM (GMT)
Jiro marched into the arena, intentionally showing no signs of emotion. Yet under the placid mask, was a wall of stone-tense muscles caused by incredible amounts of built up stress. One feature stood out from his artificial expression. His eyes, blood shot and sunken, were only a portion open. Looking as though he had not slept in decades, he haulted slothfully at the edge of the fighting grounds.
He tarried in a zombie-like manner, nor impatient or content.

DarkDestiny - August 24, 2004 03:07 AM (GMT)
Like smoke in he wind she flowed in to the arena she was to fight in. Her mind was calm.. well as calm as the chaos that could be called a mind (or in her case minds) could be. The situation was nothing new to her. She had crossed the world/time barrier once before in the past.. in fact she was rather grateful that this time she had not lost any of the small amount of memories she had gained since that shattering experience.
Slowly as she approached the edge of the arena she lowered the hood of her black cloak revealing her open crystal blue cat eyes. They both shone bright with blood lust. She could smell the tantalizing scent of nervousness as light as it was. It brought the predator in her to full awareness like nothing else could. Her grip tightened on her sais as gleeful anticipation made her tail twitch.
She was General Dkar Dinesty.
And she was ready to fight.

Billy Shears - August 24, 2004 02:20 PM (GMT)
"You've got to be kidding me." Jiro mumbled angrily.
He rolled his worn out eyes, and lifted his head upwards. For a couple of moments he simply stared into the abyss, letting his entire body slump fowards. Almost to the point where it seemed he had been hanging on a thread.
With his eyes still out of focus, and his body remaining in a "useless puppet" position, he spoke.
"Well, let's do this."
Jiro head swung down towards Dkar and his body elongated into it's normal build. He shook slightly, and rubbed his hands against his eyelids.
Within the following second he darted forward, approaching Dkar at a multiplied rate.

DarkDestiny - August 24, 2004 03:09 PM (GMT)
Her sharp ears picked up her opponent's angry mutter easily. For a moment she wondered if he was angry because she was strong... or angry because he thought her weak. The thought of the second sparked a bit of anger. Before she could think on it anymore and decide if she was angry, he was charging at her at a faster rate then that of any human. With a grin that was all fangs she extended her sais beyond her cloak's edge and with her own demonic speed charged out to meet him. Just as they were about to meet half way, she leapt into the air and with a forwards flip, drove downward at his head with both her sais in a cross slashing motion.

Billy Shears - August 24, 2004 03:21 PM (GMT)
Just as Dkar was about to come in harsh contact with Jiro's skull, he frantically rolled out of the way. Struggling to regain balance, he stumbled a few feet and eventually caught himself. Although Jiro felt as though he would explode from fright, the troublesome experience had woken his brain.
"Dammit Dkar!" He hollered, his hands clasped to his head.
Rushing foward, he threw his hand outward, hoping to catch Dkar as she plummeted downward. His palms burst into a bright aura, and rose upward towards her skull.

DarkDestiny - August 24, 2004 03:44 PM (GMT)
As soon as he began to roll away she reacted by pulling the front of her body back and swinging her clawed feet forward aiming for a landing she could control.
"Dammit Dkar!" came his angry reply to her obviously lethal in intent attack. He was reaching upward for her face with glowing hands as she fell, but his stumbling motion had taken too long for his success to happen. Her feet touched the ground and using the new leverage she swung her head back allowing his hands to grasp only air. Her sais came upwards in the same motion slashing towards his elbows and she growled as the blue fire sprang in to her eyes,
"Don't be surprised Jiro. You know that when I play, I play for keeps."

Billy Shears - August 24, 2004 04:33 PM (GMT)
Hesitating, Jiro made a monstrous flaw by falling foward. His hands, now empty of Dkar's flesh, lost their aura. Realizing blades were approaching his elbows, Jiro spread his arms open wider. He successfully saved his elbows, but the same did not go for the inner section of his arms. Both blades slid painfully against Jiro's skin, ripping the flesh open and allowing the blood to escape.
Jiro screamed, leaping away from Dkar. He begged for the pain in his arms to cease, yet nothing of the genre happened. The burning affliction only grew larger. Feeling as though his arms would fall off, he allowed them to dangle loosley.
"..M-Monster.." Jiro stammered, allowing his fury to overcome him.
He rushed foward, pulling the solar energy out from his body in allareas. An orange aura covered his entire body. The aura became unstable, bursting out in different directions. His ambience became a ferocious blaze, and Jiro's body could roughly not be seen through his firey exterior.
Allowing his arms to fly wildly behind him, he approached Dkar in an uncontrollable tantrum..

DarkDestiny - August 24, 2004 09:24 PM (GMT)
The scent of fresh hot blood filled the air as her sais felt the sweet resistance of flesh for but a moment before being released in a flash of red. The smell did not yet begin to satiate her and as he danced backwards she licked one of the blades reveling in the coppery taste.
"..M-Monster.." Jiro stammered. She could feel the rage that built in him and thought to her self 'about time' as he began to push forward, his body glowing orange. Quickly she did several backwards handstands to increase the distance between them and give her time to use her magic. Then, muttering darkly in words beyond understanding, she summoned her blue fire to her hands. Still muttering she flung a ball of it the size of a basket ball at his rapidly approaching form. Her concentration left her open and one of the unstable bursts hit her arm lighting her cloak ablaze. Like a snake with its old skin she shed it, revealing her silver fire patterned armor, armlets, and legletts. The blue stones in each piece were aglow with her magic energy and ready to receive more.

Billy Shears - August 28, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
The sphere of blue fire approached Jiro, and he did nothing to evade the attack. The small inferno worked through his solar surrounding and came in rough contact with his chest. It immediatly destroyed his shirt, as well as several layers of skin above his abdomen.
He continued to rush fowards, closing in on Dkar. He let out a roar, and opened his arms wide as he came within seconds of contact. He fell inwards towards her, his body ablaze, with hopes of accomplishing a bear hug-like attack.

DarkDestiny - August 29, 2004 05:19 AM (GMT)
He was too close for her to evade the attack.. so instead she decided to use his attack and the abillities of her armor against him. She countered his solar powered blaze bear hug with a deadly hug of her own that aimed her sais into his sides up into his vital organs. His arms wrapped around her waist.. and his firey grip burned the fur under her arms as well as the skin.. but she absorbed the main charge of the attack in to her torso armor causeing the stones to burn bright and allowing her to channel the energy into her own blue fire, which she then directed into her sais as they flew towards his own sides. Still there was too much energy for her to completly redirect, and some of the broiling heat burned into her making her hiss with pain and causing the flames in her eyes to burn white.

The thin blades roughly slid in between Jiro's rib bones. Blood poured down the ends of the glimmering metal, and began to drench his entire body's clothing. His erratic aura died down quickley, becoming nothing more then a faint shimmer.
His eyes widened, and pupils dialated. His palm reached upwards, clamping it's grip around the bulk of Dkar's neck. Between clenched teeth, he growled to her,
"I've died once before." He paused, forcing down the pain emitting from his sides.
"I won't die again."
Jiro's grasp began to tighten, just to the point where he would be able to rip the throat out from her entire being.

DarkDestiny - September 5, 2004 10:33 PM (GMT)
((k))
She could feel the pressure on her throat and knew she had only moments before she would passout and worse from lack of oxygen. Instead of panicking and wasting her energy on pointless squirming she took action.
In one motion she twisted her sais and slid them out of his sides. Her vision beginning to fill with flashes of light and dark she then rammed her sais, on a diagonal angle away from her own neck, with all her strength at the point where his wrists met his hands. He would either have to let go to avoid her blades or have his wrists impaled and hopefully be unable to keep squeezing.

Billy Shears - September 5, 2004 11:22 PM (GMT)
Jiro released his grasp from Dkar's neck, retreating backwards in something like a reflex. His pupils began to shrink, and his head started to throb. He knew, deep within the pit of his inards, it would now be over for him.
"..You were always a amazing warrior.." He said, between heavy gasps. "I wish.." His voice began to fade, into tiny and quick breaths. The world became unusually light, as it began to float upwards in a feather-like manner.
He fell to his knees, into the puddle of his own blood below him. Jiro's face had shown no agony, or distress. The expression appeared content, as well as quite disoriented.
"I wish.." Jiro's upper torso folded downward, hitting his nose to the wet ground. "That I didn't have to die, knowing my abilities were.." His head slumped sideways, his ear falling lightly to the stone. "A waste..of my time..and life."

His eyes fell blurred.

((I know this is the second time I've let a character die in a tournament. Though the truth was, he was out of things to use, and also incredibly low on blood. Continueing to fight would be totally unrealistic.))
