Title: Sean versus Joe Qualifiers
Sacrificial Hero - August 18, 2004 05:47 PM (GMT)
((OKay joe, this fight will be you and I, 8 posts a piece and then Jay and Gelfman will pick a winner. I'm using Jesh for our fight. You have 48 hours to respond or you surrender your first fight. We're fighting in a stadium with a cement ring surrouded by grass.))
JEsh walked into the stadium. It seemed so familiar. The tournament in Sharonia had exposed him to screaming fans begging for blood and gore, this was no different. His sword materialized in his hand. A mere 4 pound broadsword with black trim to the silver blade of the weapon. A beautiful piece of artwork, crafted in his subconcious to represent his soul. The last epitaph was it's name and countless lives had ended at it's blade. He swung it a few times, warming up his arm and waited for his opponent to enter the ring.

(indeed sean I shall be using Trey for this match)
Trey was already slowly stepping onto the hard cement circle which would indefinatly lead to one doom. A brownish scarf covering is neck along with a brownish trench coat with 6 parallel buttons running down the middle blew in the slight breeze that swept across the areana. He removed his hands from his pockets to unfasen the buttons to be ready for the upcoming match. "I'm not loosing to some punk who thinks he's cool" He mocked. He took a few slow steps foward as his black shoes clicked against the concrete. "no one escapes my aim".

"Ready?" Jesh asked in his most serious of voices, still his arrogance sunk through but his hidden pain did as well. He lifted his arms into the air and stood sideways. The last epitaph hung in his right hand as he fanned out his fingers. the pommel slipped between hhis pointer and middle fingers. A grin spread across his face as he uttered two words. "Chloro control" The blades of grass behind Trey ripped from the earth soundlessly and hurtled toward the fighter's back. The approached at breakneck spped and at a mere four inches distance turned to hardened steel. TO distract Trey, Jesh pointed up with his blade. "Watch out pal. God's wrath and all." But in truth the danger was coming from behind him.
tintenfisch - August 19, 2004 03:54 PM (GMT)
Trey was an expert marksman, so he was able to detect the sound of the grass fibers rub together. Trey jumped up into the air and flipped upside down. He removed 2 magnums from the inner part of his jacket to shoot at the grass blades to prevent them from grasping his ankles. While still upside down he fired at the ground to propel himself upwards. Each gun shoot produced a sound like a dynomite stick going off from the sheer power of the gun shots. Each round rang in his ears leaving behind an unpleasent sound to which he was well acustomed to.
In mid air about 7 feet off the ground and a horizantal position he turned to Jesh "don't be surprised, people try to sneak up on me all the time", he made a smirk "Barrel of a gun" Trey began spinning at a high velocity and firing at random having all the bullets shoot everywhere marking the ground with indents from the bullets, hopefully one of the bullets would hit him.
Sacrificial Hero - August 20, 2004 04:14 AM (GMT)
Jesh was amrter than this. Mika had fired her gun at him multiple times in the past so he knew how to guard himself. He started running toward Trey Swinging his sword in random movements. He was lucky enough to hit one bullet, but on struck him in the left arm. He lept into the air as he closed in on Trey and with his left left arm directed a floating leaf he pulled from his pocket and threw, toward the gunman's lower back and struck downward at Trey's head with the last epitaph with his still undamaged right arm. THe leaf turned into steel as it approached the defenless body of Trey.
"He's spinning in mid air, how is he going to possibly change his momentum and dodge this in time?" Jesh asked himself as his sword and the leaf drew ever closer to his spinning foe.

Trey had no idea that Jesh was coming at him, all he could see was the scenery wizz by him without letting his eyes develop the information fast enough. The sword cut him up and down in a sideways motion "Aaaahhhhhhhhhh" he screamed as the cold weapon entered his dirty body filled with pain. He fell to the cement with a trail of blood following him all the way down. More blood spilled onto the hard surface and spread across the area. Trey's guns landed far from him, they were accidentaly tossed after he lost his grip on the handles from all the spinning.
He set one hand down to help himself up, then the other, then the left leg and then the right until he was in an upright position. He eventually stood up to face his dicing opponent. "heh....good shot...never been cut by a sword before" He complimented "But I'm hardly out for the count" his faced turned to anger.
Trey reached back into his coat which was now in tatters and pulled out a knife about 6 inches long. He plunged the knife into his ribs where a nasty cut had been delivered with a painful grin. He reached into his ribs slowly and eventually pulled out a small pistol. "heh, something I got from some other time, but now that I've pulled this out, I won't last much longer...neither will you".

Jesh's arm was bleeding badly, the slippery red liquid slid down his left arm and into his hand which was quickly losing all feeling. His fingertips had already gone cold, he knew that this fight had to end soon. He stood with his right arm facing Trey.
"Gunmen have no honor." He said in a cold, mocking tone. He hopped forward and strike vertically at a distance where he would knock the gun from Trey's hand if succesful. WIth the last remaining strength in his left he controlled a vine, hoping that Trey wolud be distracted Jesh aimed the vine and attempted to knock the first gun from the ring.
tintenfisch - August 21, 2004 02:34 AM (GMT)
"Yeah, but we got skills" He reprised to Jesh's comment as he aimed the gun in the air. He pulled the trigger which seemed to weight a ton in his condition sending a huge streak of lighting into the air and the clouds above him. As soon as that was done a vine came up and knocked the gun out of the hand which surprised him and made him leap bacvk out of his pool of juices.
Soon enough the gun shot was taking effect "heh so long rookie" he said harsly as he covered himself with what was left of his jacket. A mass amount of fire balls began to fly down from the sky and onto the circle which no target in paticular, who ever was ht by a fireball would surly be hurt, but Trey knew better to protect himself from fire which is why he coat is made out o a thin fire proof cloth that his old buddy gave him, though it was still a proto type and might not work.

((Joe read more carefully. My sword was aimed at the gun, the vine at the one on the floor. But like improv I have to go with what you said, let's just hope this doesn't turn into another lightsaber pogostick incident))
Jesh jumped back at the gunshot, even though it was fired into the air. His last half second in control of his left hand were used to direct the same vine to knock the second gun from Trey's hand. ((How's that for Improv joe?)) He turned his eyes to the sky and saw a fireball coming down upon his head. He spun, knowing there was no way to dodge it and sliced at it, trying to dispel it. It struck him in the chest. Jesh fell to the ground and rolled over onto his chest, trying to smother the flame. A few seconds of screaming in agony the fire was gone. His charred skin smelled and burnt his nose, making his eyes tear.
"You bastard!" Jesh rolled onto his back again and watched as the fireballs crashed to the cement and small sparks jumped up, landing on his burnt clothing, singed skin, and once in a while his still untouched face. "You're fucked." WIth a few flicks of the fingers on his right hand a few blades of grass grew to gigantic spears, the ripped from the ground. They positioned themselves above Trey and suddenly turned to steel, gravity did it's job after this. THey plunged through the air, aimed at Trey's heart, head, and stomach. Jesh began to slip out of conciousness, he hoped that his spears would do their job.
((Wanna end this early Joe? if so just say over at the end of your next post.))
tintenfisch - August 21, 2004 04:01 AM (GMT)
((uh...sean....I had one gun, my other one's landed far from me, and yeah I don't plan to live much longer)
KNowing he was at his lifes end, trey closed his eyes and imagined all the people he had met and helped during his fighting years, their faces were crystal clear in his head, they were all smiling at him, of coarse all of them were dead now, and soon he would be with them. "tch, jerk off" he said to Jesh laying on the ground as the pointy plants entered his body rendering him dead.

well....i think you both did awesome, but sean was a better component to this fight than most people would notice, so i'm giving him an 8
joe.....your shit was fucked up.....you get a 7
Billy Shears - August 21, 2004 04:37 AM (GMT)
Sean: You did a pretty nice job with Jesh. You faught very realistically, and explained everything that had needed to be explained quite thoughrally. You made it clear that you were fighting with a damaged body, and I think that is seriously needed. You got:
8 outta 10.
Joe: Your creativity is amazing. I usually think gunmen are boring and not fun to play but I really like the way your character attacks and reacts. One thing brought you down in my eyes though, the fact you didn't point out your damages more. There were a few times you faught, making it seem the damages didn't restrict you. So mainly for that reason you get:
7 outta 10.
