The space station came and went before them, along with their settled state of minds. The dim blue light surrounded them all, leaving their stomach peaceful but their brains boggled..

---

Ellen opened her eyes, examining the land before her. She wanted to explode into hysterics, but she forced it into the shadow's of her library of sudden of emotions. Moving her head side to side, she felt somewhat settled her crew was around her, all appearing in an acceptable physical state.
Towers made from pale green stone surrounded them, each stone covered in unusual letters that she had never seen before. The stones remained lit, and as Ellen walked foward the tower's lights dimmed farther.
"Is everyone ok?" She asked.

---

Peter found himself looking at the grey dirt below him. It took a large amount of will power to simply raise his head, he did not want to live the experience he was dreading. The words drifted in and out his ears, "Is everyone ok?". He did not look towards his captain, but he did answer.
"I'm fine." He stated, his voice barely able to be heard.

This was not his world.

Blue light everywhere, this was the last thought that had gone through Charile's mind. A peaceful shade of blue, had worked to sedate him in a small sense. But not now. Now he found himself laying face down tasting dirt. He spread his arms, and pushed down pulling himself up. As he stood he slowly wiped the dirt off of his face and eyes. What he saw was breath taking.

There were amazing structures that were massive in size. Shaped like giant towers, he could make out small pictographs engraved in the structure. His scientist mentality kicked in immediatly, he wished he had a portable scanner, he could see how old they were judgeing from the Carbon-14 left in the rocks. As he looked around he saw his fellow crew members standing up and looking in amazement. This journey had only begun, maybe somewhere on this strange new world, they would find the other crew on which there mission was based on.

Charile rushed over to the others. Helping them up along the way. "This is going to be big" he thought to himself.

Alex Hunter opened his eyes, the perfect shade of blue to match his surroundings, and tried to rise to his feet slower than any of the crew members. With a groan he came to his feet and found the ground to be hard. When he began to look around him he was instantly overtaken by a strong sence of Vertigo. He had been placed atop one of the large towers! The surprise sent him sprawling backwards, and the back of his shoues teetered off the edge before he forced him self back ontop of the small square of level stone atop the towers. At first he could not move or make a sound, fear was gripping him so tightly. Finally he got on his hands and knees and carefully crawled to the edge of the tower. To his relief he found the rest of the crew collected not far from the tower he was on, and their ship. With shaking limbs he called down, his voice seemed to carry much easier in this place that it had on Earth. "Guys! Captain! How the hell do I get down from here!?"

"How the hell do I get down from here"? Charile reconized the voice immeditly. It was Alex Hunter's. A fellow member of the crew. Turning his head upward he could see a small figure standing on top of one of the towers. Charlie ran over to the Captain, stepping over several bodies which still lay on the ground. "Captain, look up on top that tower". Pointing towards the still figure on top of the tower they both noticed the outline of Alex. "What do you think we should do?" asked Charlie.

Ellen was still telling herself the situation was a dream when she was faced with a question. Her eyes rose, and with them the head followed. She wrinkled her nose, and left her mouth lop sided.
She didn't even know where they were, how could they get him down?
Luckily, the voice of hope spoke into her ear.

Peter's eyebrows popped upwards. He grinned in a giddy manner.
"I might have something!" He said, his beaming face thriving still.
Jamming his hand into his napsack, he revealed a tightly curled ball of rope. He whipped it outwards, revealing a gracious length. But, to no avail, the rope could only reach halfway down the length of the tower, if that much.
He frowned, looking up at Alex nervously.
