ok, here's the deal, we are starting, i'm going to do it slightly differently from the average rpg though. Instead of being on one world, i intend for this rp to be in a series of campaigns, which all of our characters happen to appear in. We start on the wookie homeworld first, good luck and have fun.

Does anyone have any questions about the Predator society, the Xenomorph, Star Wars or Earth at this point in time in the rpg? If so, Jay and i can both answer about the predator, I know alot about the xenomorph, and Diane is quite the star wars buff

Diane are the creatures chasing you aliens? Because you said they talked intelligently to each other but they don't really talk.. they screech at each other. Their "talking" would not seem intelligent. Also.. Tom I know they have acid blood but not their drool right?

no, though i think in times of need they can bite themselves and spit it, because an alien did spit acid at a guy in the thirdmovie, he didn't die but fell back into a giant fan, and then died

The things chasing me are xenomorphs. Though their screeching sounds convoluted to regular humans, it is communication and Yabba, being so ridicoulously old, recognizes it as such. They're smarter than a regular pack of hunting animals, and that's what she's picked up on. Sorry, I should have been more clear.

Remember diane, xenomorph have absolutely no technology. You mentioned the thing after her had lights, xenomorphs dont, you can salvage it though by saying they're predators, they could have a light source, and they might chase a lone human child for some sick reason or another.

err.. no? The thing is xenos don't even need light they can see heat. I loved the game aliens vrs predator. (the game not the movie) I played as the xenos all the time. They didn't see in color and they could move on anything vertical, horizontal, ceiling, floor.. you name it. they were kick but and killed humans like nothing.. *fondsigh*

A vs P 2 is great, though you were able to switch between normal and night vision in that...

are you sure that was not preds? I know the preds had like 3 or 4 sights

every race had 1 or more type of vision

Diane, i have one question bout your character, assuming she gets implanted (which we'll try not to let happen), what would happen to her when the xeno tries to pop out of her stomach? would it regrow?

Aliens have two visions in the game: They see pheromones, this makes living creatures light up like a candle even in the darkest night and navigation view it's strange and makes long range vision very poor, but lights up all nearby objects.

Exactly, Tom. It would feed off her, probably grow really strong since she'd have an unlimited supply of energy, and then when it popped out there'd be a big mess and a lot of screaming, but then she'd heal right up agian. So actually, she'd be perfect for the xenomorphs because they could implant her an infinite number of times...ugh, that's an ugly future.

I know what you had in your post was not acurate. I also talked with my brother who is a verteran alien vrs predator gamer and he agreed with me on my points. I didn't just post that I thought you were in the wrong because of my opinion I did research. I also talked with Tom on some of the points. We both agreed that alien acid ate through three floors in the movie. Among other things. I can drop with the best of them jay. I have 30 totall aliens I would like it if you at least respected their abilities. I may not know more then Tom but I do know what i'm talking about.

Look Jay, you should know that Heather consulted me on ALL of her grievances before she posted them, so in this case she does know what she's talking about. Further, she did not flame you in any way, so please treat her VALID complaints civilly and respectfully. That goes for everyone in any of my rps.

I posted a whole topic on the fact that I am sick and that I would not be posting for two days in any rp. When I'm sick I have trouble rping. The whole cannot think strait thing you know. Sadly I had to add a day (today) because while it's hard to post when you can't think, it's even harder to post when you can't breath. I spent yesterday on and off of a nebuliser machine. It's an advanced form of an inhaler basically. The thing is it has a side effect of making me weak dizzy and very loopy. lucky for me today was not so bad and right now my lungs are not as tight. I may post tomorrow if I'm all better.

since Heather is this rp's xenomorph player, we need to postpone until she returns

ok, this is where i make a good suggestion, why not make an npc group of each race incase anyone cant post, like an npc jedi group for jeff, predators for me, xenos for heather, humans for you tom, etc. this way we can do what we want without harming the other player characters

I have a better suggestion. Let's all have patience and wait.

okay I'm going to be posting tomorrow if my trip's to the city museums don't take till midnight. (I may still be sick but my dad took days off just for this and i need the trips for AP art so i am going no matter what)
But I have a condition.
I control all of the xenos. They are each and every one of them my characters. I may only "see" the world through one particular one or the queen herself but they are all mine. This means you can't kill them and you can't mod them. You can fire at them and attack them and I will say if they died. I understand every rp needs a villain that must die on a large scale so on average I will have them die when fired at and attacked. I'm not going to have them be immortal I just want them respected. I will not tolerate them being modded. Likewise I'm not just going to have my xenos just kill anyone else's character without them having the ability to protest or evade the attack. However I expect people who have many characters to let a few die as well.They can be much harder to kill but they still have to die. This only seems fair to me. If you think this is irrational speak now.
