Here's an example of what this tut will give you.



1. Duplicate the layer of your text. To do this Right Click the layer of the text, then go Duplicate Layer. And, This works best if the text isnt blended.

2. Rasterize your duplicated layer. To do this, Right Click the layer, and go Rasterize Layer.

3. Now, with your rasterized layer selected, go Filter> Blur> Motion Blur. And, set it to 25.

4. And, for the degree, go for 90 if you want it to look like the example above. So, this can be done several time for multiple blurs.

Nice tutorial, I used it to make an avatar just to see the effect looks cool, I also added out glow to both layers with dif color to give it a bit more interesting look but thats just me O_o thx.
