Title: Organoid Competition

Sean Thompson - January 14, 2005 12:09 AM (GMT)
To encourage activity amongst the members of Metal Combat, we will be holding an Organoid Competition this weekend. Hows the OC gonna work you ask? Well, thanks to some pretty cool ideas from Ben Slate, this is what we've decided on.

You, and two other pilots, will be pitted amongst some of the most fierce zoids to grace Zi... The mighty S-Class zoids.

Now, before you get too scared, you'll only be facing one S-Class. Lucky you. After you and your team have downed your foe, you will be pitted against eachother. Last warrior standing will have earned an Organoid.

Now, what happens if the S-Class downs all three of you? No one gets the 'noid.

Simple, huh?

Captain Stalin - January 14, 2005 12:33 AM (GMT)
I claim judgeship of this. So expect some scary things...

Guardian - January 14, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
Oh may zoid eve have pity on our souls.... :ph43r:

The Keeper - January 14, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
*bites his soul* Zoid eve is going to pray for mercy after I'm done with you. <insert evil cackle here>

Guardian - January 14, 2005 02:38 AM (GMT)
Don't be dissing zoid eve, without her all zoids will cease to function...do you want to tick off that kind of power?

Augustus - January 14, 2005 09:11 AM (GMT)
Ooh, dibs on one of the first battles ^_^. So, when will these joyous proceedings take place?

Sean Thompson - January 14, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)

I LURVE LEMONS! - January 14, 2005 08:17 PM (GMT)
Must attend... screw SATs.

Sean Thompson - January 14, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
Also, no flying zoids will be allowed to participate in the OC.

I Love the Helic-Republic! - January 15, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
I'm so in. Do we have any idea what zoid we are going to be fighting?

Guardian - January 15, 2005 12:41 AM (GMT)
I bet their going to pull some kind of random drawing crap and the noobs'll be stuck with the Geno Breaker or some crap....they're always sending the big ones after the noobs...

I Love the Helic-Republic! - January 15, 2005 12:55 AM (GMT)
There is only three S class zoids and all the other zoids out there that could be considered S class are all physically bigger.

Captain Stalin - January 15, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
I have a fair idea of what Sean is going to throw at you chaps... but I'll just let you bite your finger nails for now and shit yourselves when you find out.

I Love the Helic-Republic! - January 15, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
Hey I'm ready to throw my self at a preverbial brick wall till I can't feel my spleen.

The Keeper - January 15, 2005 12:13 PM (GMT)
I'm somewhat ready for this, I just hope I'll be able to participate. *glares at her older brother and his addiction to WoW.* >_<;;;

Guardian - January 15, 2005 04:24 PM (GMT)
Let's do this, when does it start? Mt team can take on anyone but one of my teamates still needs to be approved...CRAP!!!

The Keeper - January 15, 2005 04:29 PM (GMT)
Guardian, you'll be on your own in this competition.

Guardian - January 15, 2005 04:37 PM (GMT)
hmm, darn it I can't read right!!!!

Sean Thompson - January 16, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
Round one produced no winners, Fuhrer took 'em all out.

Guardian - January 16, 2005 12:22 AM (GMT)
Yeah but we gave you a run for your money Seany boy!!!! You were scared for a second and you know it!!!

Alex Carrigan - January 16, 2005 03:34 AM (GMT)
Dude, he was so scared. I know for a fact that he has an irrational fear of Gorhecks guts. And there certainly were a lot of those all over the place tonight :P

At any rate, great battle, man, hope to do it again sometime.

Sean Thompson - January 16, 2005 03:57 AM (GMT)
Congratulations to Ben Slate and Augustus Tanaka, who both come away with Organoids. Great battle, folks.

Captain Stalin - January 16, 2005 04:03 AM (GMT)
It was one hell of a battle. Easily one of the best battles I've ever participated in. Congrats to all.

I Love the Helic-Republic! - January 16, 2005 04:49 AM (GMT)
Congrats guys!
Although next time there’s going to be more throwing myself at Demi-gods with a bigger zoid.

Guardian - January 16, 2005 04:53 AM (GMT)
Next time...you wont be so lucky...I will win...I was so close....

Augustus - January 16, 2005 04:55 AM (GMT)
Heheh, I only wish I couldn't used Gojira for this fight, but I guess a Gojulas wouldn't have been able to pull it off. Oh well, congrats Ben ^_^

Alex Carrigan - January 16, 2005 04:57 AM (GMT)
'Twas OK, really. I got reamed in the first one, but then came back and got to judge a great four hour second battle.

And Auji, I can only imagine a Gojulas trying to coil itself around a Fury's neck o_o

Guardian - January 16, 2005 05:01 AM (GMT)
hehhehe...funny stuff....yeah but seriously I had a nervous breakdown mid battle...I freaked out when that BF came out of nowhere but I guess being the last one to go down is kinda cool...but I swear if we were worked better together as a team I could have my organiod right about now...yeah you heard me...MY organiod...ya'll ain't got nothin on me and my SF...

I Love the Helic-Republic! - January 16, 2005 05:06 AM (GMT)
That would look rather wrong...

Sean Thompson - January 16, 2005 05:14 AM (GMT)
-=Sigh=- I've still gotta take my shot at it.

BigM the Mighty - January 16, 2005 05:35 AM (GMT)
Ay, me too.

The Keeper - January 16, 2005 12:49 PM (GMT)
I want to apologize to all those in the second round of the organoid competition, I was in a bit of a tight spot at my house. So basically I was juggling battling with you guys and yelling at the top of my lungs at my brother. So yeah, that wasn't exactly a fun experience... (fighting with my brother that is, the OC battles were fun.) So I'm sorry about the time restrictions. I wonder if I can give you guys Instant repair slips as a compensation...

Augustus - January 16, 2005 11:15 PM (GMT)
It is no problem at all, Mia, we know that the outside world can often force unexpected problems upon us all, but still, that was an excellent fight you displayed up until your departure.
