Cyrus Wagner - July 16, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)
Don't worry Subaru, we know.
MystickSkye - July 16, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)
I regret to inform, I've come down horribly ill with a bloody cold o.o As such, I won't be doing anything apart from nodding or shaking my head for a while o.o
Cyrus Wagner - July 16, 2004 11:24 PM (GMT)

Aww... fuckberries...
Crimson - July 16, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
Now now, he has a life, he can get sick.
MystickSkye - July 16, 2004 11:34 PM (GMT)
Oddly enough though, I almost never catch a cold in winter. Only in spring, this is a first for me o.o
Crimson - July 16, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
........Your an Ozzy arn't ya? And the same here, the first time i ever caught a cold in winter was when we had an ice storm, and I always dress weird, like here in summer with 100-110F I wear a leather jacket, well, then, I did not have my leather jacket, was a few years ago, so just some shorts, shirt, no shoes tho... had fun slipping on the ice, but really all i got was a head ach, sore throat, and hardly even a runny nose, nothign serious....
Mary - July 17, 2004 02:42 AM (GMT)
New Zealand is in winter. Weird....
Anywho, feel better soon Skye. Remember to rest and remember the soup. Must have rest and soup.
Crimson - July 17, 2004 03:22 AM (GMT)
Nah, soup does nothing for ya. Just sleep and drink plenty of liquids. One way I keep from getting sick is that when I feel it coming on, i get wraped up as warm as I can and take a 3 hour nap, but only works on mine for some reason (slight migrain, eyes burn white hot, slight rumble in the gut).
But at any rate, drink plenty of liquids and sleep, it will do wonders for you, and take some Calcium and, oh in tarnations what was it, B or D, think B, not sure, it helps you take in calcium. Calcium does more for you than you think, too much can get blood clots or something close to it, lol, but enough can keep a person alive for over 80 years. Was an island some where that had rich calcium in their sand and they used it as spice. They had alot of people live over 100 years, and also an eskimo place, drink water from a big piece of ice, go fig, lol, but it was rish in calcium, lots of it. More people there lived over 100 years, but that can be in part from it being so cold, slows down the heart rate, the faster your heart beats, the quicker you die (which is where the "scared to death" thing comes from).
OK, enough ranting about how to live long, cya, and have fun.

Soup is good if you have a sore throat/infection of said throat. Make the soup and load up on the hot sauce and burn the little blighters (viruses/bacteria) away. It works well. I can vouch from personal experience. Cup Noodles and Ramen work the best.

Soup is a liquid. :ph43r:
Crimson - July 18, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
Soup is liquid, with solids, like noodles, veggies, chicken, beef. Personaly, I think chicken broth is good for the liquid part of soup, but other things can be used for it.

First off, the generally accepted spelling is "Aussie", and secondly, I'm a Kiwi. We do NOT like being mixed up. Thirdly, I usually have chicken noodles or chicken soup when I'm sick and it seems to help o.o
Fourthly, it's freezing in here and fifthly, I should be fine by this Saturday o.o

Aussie indeed. Though we do like to refer to our trans-Tasman neighbours with the usual title involving sheep, it pisses us off severely when people can't tell the difference. It's like calling George Bush a Canuck. No derogatory comments intended, I know perfectly well what "canuck" refers to.
Crimson - July 18, 2004 04:06 AM (GMT)
All I knew was Time Zone and you were southeren. That is all that I knew of it. But anyways, Kiwi? You mean ya'll are fruit? Hmm, weird. Eh well, keep warm , lot of liquids, and stay in the sunlight, good for plants.
WolfeFuzze - July 18, 2004 04:22 AM (GMT)
Kiwi = New Zealander (Sorry, if you were being sarcastic, it's kinda hard to tell through text)
And it refers to a type of bird that is unique to there, iirc...

You're just mad you lost the rugby last night XD
Besides, we use the sheep term to define you guys as well O.o
That and Kiwi doesn't mean fruit. The fruit is called Kiwifruit and never Kiwi. Kiwi can also refer to as a flightless bird that lives in NZ. Unique to NZ and the bird itself is also unique as it has nostrils at the end of it's nose.
But yeah, though NZ and Aus are generally at each other's throats (especially when it comes to sporting events) we usually band together against things like stupid people, Americans etc etc XD
