Marc stood in the nearly abandoned hanger of the Knights of Oblivion base. This was the first time he had set foot in the base since a few days after the Stryker murders. In fact, that was the last time he, or anyone else it would seem, had seen Nikos Arthin. That was the day his team fell apart, not that it had seen stellar performance under Marc’s reign anyway. A losing record was hardly impressive.
“I couldn’t even make a team composed of my best friend and my sister work,” he thought with a tinge of sadness. After Nikos disappeared and Sera got out of the game for good he had planned to hire a new pair of pilots and try to redeem himself in the new season. But now finding a nice girl and settling down was starting to sound more appealing. His piloting career hadn’t exactly been successful as it stood and he wasn’t getting any younger. Marc’s thoughts were brought to an abrupt end by an eager grunt from the only other presence in the hanger, his Red Horn.
“Up for a trip?” Marc smiled, knowing full well that the Zoid had been cooped up for far too long. The beast simply lowered its head and the cockpit hissed open.
“I thought you might be.”
((Should I post in this, or are you just gonna play by yourself for a while?))
((Be my guest, I was kinda hoping somebody might. I meant to post again before now, but they're working me to death...))
"Hey, Marc. Sera said you'd be here." Jenny, wearing a short skirt and tank top on account of the heat, stepped into the hangar. She was wearing wire-framed glasses perched on the end of her nose and looked like a blue-haired version of Lauriia. "Have you heard from Kyne? He just plain disappeared."
