There are a number of variations on the gun. Projectile launchers, cannons, lasers, beams, plasma lances, and even missiles and rockets. Universally, it is agreed that a bigger gun is generally better.
This is a very big gun.
Measuring nearly twelve meters from barrel to breech, the Heavy Blaster is a combination railgun and plasma weapon. The barrel, instead of sheathing the bolt accelerates nearly continuous waves of superheated plasma to supersonic speeds. Typically firing in three-shot bursts, these are effectively long-range shock cannons. Effective out to about seven hundred meters, the Champ Heavy Blaster Cannon makes for a simple and effective weapon. It fires two bursts in three seconds, mounting in the second CP-03’s slot.
