This modification mounts two of the recently-developed Dual-Polarized Magnessors on the zoid’s legs – one on the thigh, one on the ankle – two facing forwards on the groin and one facing backwards along the tail, two mounted on each side of the tail, and two in front of each shoulder. They require only a trickle of power thanks to their onboard batteries, and the system links up to the onboard zoid computer to assist with maneuvers.
This is the mod that allows those little ninja zoids to enter the Matrix and perform wire-fu to their hearts’ content.
While the magnessors do not allow true flight, they do allow the zoids to bend the laws of physics. Thanks to the tractor and repulsor settings – all of which the pilot controls, so it requires a lot of practice and experience to pull off the truly spectacular maneuvers – the zoid can reverse direction in midair, leap even higher than before, stick to enemy zoids, and a host of other, more complicated maneuvers. A Delta Unit or Gamma Unit will assist with this modification greatly, turning the zoid into a true terror. The Wild Weasel Unit actually hinders the magnessor fields, and so the ZBC decided that the snipers could not equip the WWU with the Magna Grappling System.
