Aerial Maneuverability:
Despite it's bad reputation the Zabat is actually a pretty maneuverable Zoid. It's not quite as good as the Raynos, but it's about equal to that of the Redler in response time, and definitely much more maneuverable than the Pteras. It has a very tight turn circle, though, even at higher speeds, on par with the Raynos even though it can't respond nearly as fast.
Armor Description:
While fast and agile, the Zabat's armor is rather poor. Covering most of it's body, it's relatively brittle and can't nearly as much punishment as the armor of, say, a Redler. It does, however, have a very strong, lightweight structure in order to handle the stresses of complex maneuvers, so it's quite a bit tougher than it appears.
Homing Missile x1
This smart bomb is located on the chest of the Zabat and can be fired at ground targets for heavy damage. It can seek the heat signature of it's target as long as the pilot takes the time to gain a visual lock. It self-corrects in midair to strike the target from above, and packs a focused, conical blast equal to four standard missiles compressed into a two-meter blast radius. Though it can't damage a huge area, the impact zone will suffer heavy damage.
145mm Laser Gun x2
Mounted inside the wings of the Zabat and locked in a forward locked position. They cover a wide spread, but the point damage is comparable more to 50mm cannon fire. On the upside, they fire at a high rate of four rounds per second each. Like the Helcat's, these are UV lasers, firing above the visual spectrum. Unlike the Helcat's, however, there's no option for visible bleed, as the targeting systems of the Zabat allow for precision shooting even with an invisible laser.
Doppler Radar x2
The Zabat uses doppler radar to see in the dark, find stealth Zoids and gain a precious lock on other air Zoids, provided it equips air to air missiles. It's a continuous radar system that updates from multiple angles, on more wavelengths, and at a much higher rate than regular radar. This means it's much tougher to fool than any other radar around. Even in pitch black, the Zabat can fly easily.
Magnessor Wings
While the Zabat's wings don't appear particularly strong, with their strut-based construction, they are actually rather tough to destroy. Using a complex system of magnessor pulse emitters, these wings allow the Zabat to fly and even hover in place. Additionally, the Zabat's wings are very resilient to damage since most fire will miss them altogether. Best of all, they can still function after taking substantial damage.
Infrared Scope
The Zabat has the option of deploying a pair of goggles over it's eyes. The single-lensed scope offers it an infrared sensor to see heat signatures of other Zoids. Due to the nature of the system, it operates much like a combination of the Stealth Viper's infravision and the Helcat's night vision, combining the two for an unparalleled view of cloaked Zoids. There's not much that can hide from the Zabat.
