Armour Description:
The Giga Vitus is a transport that was created by the Republic for the sole purpose of dropping Giga Gojulai wherever they were needed, and this heritage is reflected in the construction. The armour is everywhere on this Zoid, except for a chunk of the engines under the Zoid, and the armour is twice as tough as that of the Whale King, also sporting the inherent laser resistance of the Giga Gojulas. It is a rugged Zoid, able to survive massive beatings, and it can crew around fifty people, no problems. It even has cramped bunks for them all to sleep.

Mobility and Power Source:
The Giga Vitus moves through the water with a complex caterpillar drivetrain system that allows it to move with almost total stealth through the water, though only very slowly. It can’t manoeuvre all that well, whether in the sky or the water, but just won’t ever tire, really. Don’t even bother trying to exhaust it, unless it’s doing a lot of Alpha Striking.. Out of the water the Giga Vitus uses a combination of anti-gravity units located in the small winglets attached to the Launch Platforms and ion pulsejets, located within the lower half of the tail, to move through the air.

Caterpillar Drivetrain x3
A stealth propulsion system developed in secret by the Republic, the Caterpillar Drivetrain is based on the Archimedes Screw for propulsion, forcing water through the screws. There’s one mounted on the top of the tail, and one on each side of the tail, and the rear half of them is unarmoured. They work in tandem with the pulsejets to propel the Giga Vitus, but a full stealth mode can be activated that cuts down all energy forms, using only the Caterpillars to propel the Giga Vitus, though at the incredibly slow speed of 10 knots.

Triplex Flight Deck
The top of the Giga Vitus’ fore section can open to reveal a hangar designed for three to four aerial Zoids, including an electromagnetic launch rail. It’s got all the standard equipment.

Launch Platform x2
The Giga Vitus has a large pod on either side of its body that is capable of holding two Giga Gojulas. It utilizes magnetized floors, cranes, etc etc, and the front of these platforms open to allow the Gigas to descend to the ground via a hydraulic lift. These platforms have special systems to rejuvenate Giga Gojulai after utilizing the 32-Shot Nuclear Machinegun, meaning that the core liquid is replaced, so the Giga only suffers a repair bill based on actual damage to the Zoid.

Large Surface Bay
The main section of the Giga Vitus is devoted to a hangar that can carry ten large Zoids, or around 12-15 smaller Zoids. All the floor sections are magnetized, there are multiple crane systems, and plenty of other great features. The Zoids depart this hangar via a ramp in the mouth.

Triplex Surface Bay
The middle of the Giga Vitus’ ventral surface can descend and send out a ramp to allow Zoids in this little hangar to get out. It can hold three small Zoids within it, but doesn’t have many of the fancy features of the main hangar in it.

Medium Surface Bay
Right at the base of the tail is another hangar, that can hold four full-sized Zoids within it. This bay is unique, as it possesses a rapid-change system within it that can be used as a makeshift Changeable Armour System. There’s a ramp that extends down from this bay to let Zoids on and off. It faces backwards.

E-Shield Generator x2
Installed in the large dorsal fin and the back of the head are two large generators that each work to generate a shield twice as powerful as a standard Shield Liger e-shield. This results in a dual-layered omnidirectional shield that can take a lot of punishment, and is especially effective at dealing with explosives and projectiles.

Five-Barrelled Beam Cannon x2
Mounted onto each side of the Giga Vitus’ head is a set of beam cannons that can pivot out by forty five degrees. The barrels each have a calibre of AZ105mm, and can each fire twice per second. Rather heavy energy drainers.
