Kyne's Gustav pulled up to the gates. He activated the speaker, expecting to talk with Vincent Claybourne.
"Yo! Claybourne! I just won the Cup. I gotta unload a Gordos 'fore the Elephander gets here. I'm desperate to sell, man! Steal from me! Rob me blind! Bandit!" Kyne chuckled at his dessicated wit.

(This Gordos got to the quarter-finals of the Royal Cup, has a good win record, and mounts the Long Toms, Ontos, and Matrix Shield Network mods. Just imagine what kind of monster he's gonna get in its place.)

There was a pause, then a new voice issued from the speaker.

"Under new management while Claybourne handles personal issues," stated the voice dryly. "I'm Zoltan Orpheus. You may or may not have heard of my name, but I know yours. Come on in."

As the voice cut out, the gates ground open to reveal the mounds of junk and a narrow road through the middle of it all.

"Ya, my father mentioned you once or twice in passing." Kyne's Gustav puttered into the courtyard. "So, what'll ya give me for this thing? It's a solid winner, been to the Royal Cup twice, and has three powerful modifications on it. Not to mention that Hank's been using this thing against Saurers."

There was a series of clicks over the speaker as Zoltan check the Zoid's resume on the computer. A pause...

"Impressive. I value it to be worth 350k brand new nowadays... with the fact that it's second hand though, the value drops. Then you see its record and the price jumps again. Say... 200k?"

Kyne hesitated, doing the math in his head and comparing the prices. "Seems fair," he replied. "I'll just drop this puppy off for ya and let you transfer the creds to Dawnstar's account."

"Consider it done, my friend," stated Zoltan, already transferring the credits.
