The diVossi Corporation, drawing on the design of the Gojulas Mariner, has developed a new, modular system of similar units for its little brother, the Godos. Being modular, the Godos doesn't have to receive a complete overhaul to make use of these modifications. It does, however, have proportionally less performance underwater than the Mariner, and the MMU can't be swapped out mid-battle, requiring a few hours in the workshop to install or remove these components. Modifications to the unit allowing for mounting to the Iguan are still underway.

That said, the Godos can still swim rings around the Type 17, mostly thanks to the smaller zoid's mass. Its structure remaining unchanged, however, the Godos cannot submerge nearly as deep as the Type 17, nor does it carry the Gojulas' fearsome armaments. Still, it's got the edge in maneuverability and can nearly compete with the Hammerhead for agility.

Twin Electromagnetic Clamps
The Godos' feet each receive a large electromagnet, allowing the MMU Godos to clamp onto anything metal it might find below the waves. They're quite strong, owing to the Godos' large feet, and can even support its weight while hanging upside-down in the air. The Godos can even use them to shuffle slowly around while clamped on.

Dual Pursuit Torpedoes
The Godos receives one of these on each shoulder, the same type of torpedo that diVossi uses on its custom-made Sinkers. From the Sinker's bio: They are best used in the sea, where they travel at 100 knots and feature deadly, precise targeting able to lock on to specific parts of a Zoid. In air, they're not quite as effective, and mostly all the pilot can do is arm them and drop them like dumb bombs. Still, they're more powerful than a standard missile, making up for the loss in accuracy.

Lil' Seadog Operations Suite
The Godos' modular head is replaced by a model more reminiscent of a diving bell. While the loss of that flimsy Republic canopy equates to a smaller field of view, the new one is much more durable and conducive to the pressures of diving. The new head is able to be cheaply mass-produced with an installed system similar to that on the new Crimson Molga. In fact, it's the exact same system. Sonar, all-weather radar, infrared and weather mapping. It just doesn't have the HHUD.

Underwater Thruster Array
The Godos gets a few flexible booster-like units on its hips, the back of its legs, two along the tail and two on the upper back. They move the hip-mounted guns to the outside of the thrusters, and restrict the AA machineguns' field of fire to a mere 45 degrees from the perpendicular. Still, the Godos can cruise at a speed of 35 knots, with enough maneuverability to swim rings around the larger Type 17.
