DiVossi Industries has this modification on file as being the work of a Guylos college-partnership student known as "B. Ivesdon." It's a simple, effective design that's sure to spice up your next battle!

The Carbide Ripper is a large, Zoid-scale sawblade, complete with a powerful motor unit and an included set of mounting braces for the machines that require it. It's heavily reinforced alloy and very difficult to shatter. The motor unit can spin the blade easily at 4000 revolutions per minute, with enough torque to continue sawing into Zoid-quality armor so long as it's spun up first. It shines against poly-weave material, as the blade digs into the micro-fibers in the armor. However, it suffers reduced effectiveness against thick, solid-plated armor like that of a Gojulas, where it can even get stuck if driven too deep without giving the blade time to spin back up.

It should be noted that this thing produces a really satisfying display of sparks when it meets metal. It's almost enough to be a psychological effect. Yes, it's that cool looking.

Some Zoids can mount multiple sawblades. In that case, each must be purchased separately.

Specific Zoid Notes:
-The Godos can mount two, and they replace the zoid's wrists and gripper claws.
- The Iguan can mount one, in place of the standard gripper claw.
- The Guysack, with a bit of finagling, can mount three. One can mount atop each gripper claw, flush with the claw itself. The mounting brace allows the saw to move about half a meter forwards or backwards in order to back the saw up to build momentum. The third mounts on the tail and replaces the beam rifle.
- The Maccurtis can mount two. One mounts to the large claw in the same manner as the Guysack, and the other can replace the gripper claw. On both of these zoids, the loss of the claws seriously hampers their burrowing ability.
- The Stealth Viper can replace its head-mounted machine guns with two of these. Like the Guysack, they can move backwards or forwards slightly to build momentum while the Viper's fangs are embedded in its foe.
- The Hammer Rock can mount two on the outside of the wrists, flush with the armor. The mounting braces allow the blade to "flip" forward to protrude past the Rock's knuckle, effectively making it a hand-held weapon. It's a bad idea to walk on them.
