Equipment Added: Seismic Depth Charges x6

A niche weapon, to be sure, the Seismic Depth Charges are six squat pods that mount in a cluster underneath the zoid's wing. They reduce speed by ten percent, but most of the zoids that mount them are subsonic bombers anyways. The Sinker suffers no speed reduction. Despite the large number of Republican zoids using the modification, this was originally intended as an Imperial answer to the Hammerhead question.
The Seismic Depth Charges have a blast radius of ten meters, in which they are pure Hell for anything short of God. The problem is, only the Raynos can really see where the enemy is, unless the zoid sports a radar that can track underwater targets or is receiving information from one such zoid. This makes a carrier-borne Gordos, with its GPS magnetic tracking system, a very handy zoid to have. Out of water these function as normal bombs with a blast radius of three meters. The main damage is through a tidal blast, after all - air just doesn't conduct nearly so well.
