The Commander Package was an upgrade used on the Zoids of ranking officers leading their men into battle, and changed the Zoid around a fair bit. Originally it was only for the Godos, but it has been adapted to fit to the Iguan as well, with some effort. The Commander Package replaces various parts of the Zoid to make a model better suited to leading others.

The Godos replaces one of the guns on its hips with the 70mm Long-Range Armour Piercing Laser Cannon, which is capable of firing two laser bursts a second, accurate out to a range of two and a half kilometers. The lasers, which hit like 85mm shells, punch into armour with relative ease, dealing minimum surface damage. The Godos also loses one of the guns on its tail to mount the RADAR Dish, which is capable of detecting Zoids out to five kilometers. It’s a standard 3D model, and has all the usual RADAR traits, such as being hindered by weather and terrain. Finally, the guns on the Godos’ back are replaced for an Energy Filter Backpack and Sensory Module. The Energy Filter Backpack, looking like two tanks, effectively decreases energy usage by 50%, allowing the Godos to fight on for much longer periods of time, while the Sensory Backpack grants the Godos IR sensors and the ability to broadcast and receive data, resulting in a 20% accuracy boost for it and its allies.

The Iguan mounts most of the same materials, replacing the Laser Machineguns on the back with the Energy Filter Backpack and the Sensory Module. However, the Iguan does not inherit the RADAR dish. The 70mm Long Range Beam Cannon is mounted onto the wrist of the arm that utilizes the gripper claw, and being so long, it makes the gripper claw pretty much impossible to use.
