When scientists at AIZDAT analyzed the modifications available on the market, they noticed that there weren’t very many designed specifically for the speedsters, the Zoids who rely on aerodynamics to attain their maximum speeds. Realizing this, a team created these laser cannons, called the Snub Cannons. They are laser weapons, invisible to the human eye, with incredibly short barrels. The entire weapon is encased in a half-teardrop shape, the barrel pointing from the tapered end of the teardrop. The result is an incredibly aerodynamic cannon that doesn’t hinder the Zoid’s speed in any way.

The Snub Cannon can fire at a rate of five times per second, but recommended rate of fire is thrice a second, to prevent overheating. Because of the casing, a Snub Cannon is fixed facing directly forwards, unable to move at all, forcing the pilot to rely on his or her own skill to position the shots correctly.
