Armour Description:
The Cannon Fort, being the smaller cousin of the Dibison, has exceptionally good armour for its class, able to take enormous beatings before failing. The coverage of the armour is superb, covering almost every area except for one weak point. Below the knees, each leg is left unarmoured, relying on the structure of the legs to survive. This is a tremendous weak point of the Cannon Fort, a weakness that the pilot should always keep in mind.

Mobility and Power Source
The Cannon Fort is able to achieve quite a respectable speed, considering its armour and weaponry. However, that speed can only be maintained in a straight line. If you’re trying to move around with the Cannon Fort, you’ll have to drop the speed a little. Even at lower speeds, the Cannon Fort is not the nimblest of beasts, due to a relatively high center of gravity. To compensate for this, the core of this Zoid will almost never tire out, as there are no energy weapons to tax the power reservoir.

105mm Heavy Mortar Cannon x2
The pride of the Cannon Fort’s weapons, the twin cannons in the turret on the back are identical to the Mortar Cannons in the Dibison’s 17-Cannon Array. They are each capable of firing one mortar every two seconds, and can lob the mortars to distances between two kilometers away, and twenty meters in front of itself. Considering that these mortars have a blast radius of 15 meters, firing at point blank will mean that you’re cutting it pretty fine. The cannons can point from directly ahead to 50 degrees vertically, and have no horizontal movement, sadly. Whilst these are inaccurate weapons, they lay down the hurting if they hit you.

ARZ 60mm Cannon x2
If you think the Cannon Fort’s horns look a little strange, here’s why. They are cannons! 60mm cannons, to be exact, that can fire where the Fort’s head is facing. They fire three times per second each, and can rotate up and down 20 degrees, but the Fort will usually have to lower its head to fire them, obstructing its vision.

TRZ 30mm Cannon x2
These smaller cannons are located underneath the head of the Fort, on the chest, and are both capable of turreting 90 degrees to the left and right, for some pretty good accuracy. The cannons can each fire four times a second.

20mm Repeater Battery
Linked into a row are four 20mm Repeater Cannons, each capable of firing 15 rounds per second. These guns make up the Repeater Battery. Mounted on the back, on a turret capable of rotating 360 degrees, this repeater battery is ideal for anti-missile duty, for warding off would-be attackers, and generally protecting your rear and flanks.

Hardened Alloy Hooves
Simple enough, these hooves are thick, heavy metal that would make quite a painful trampling attack, or a powerful rear donkey kick that is going to leave almost anything hurting. However, due to the balance issues, if you try to do anything too fancy with these, you’ll probably hurt the Fort more than the enemy.
