Armour Description
The Diloforce was a Zoid designed to be used as a pack Zoid, and as such is a fairly light Zoid in and of itself. The armour that covers it is of the same design as the armour on a Rev Raptor, so it is a poly-weave armour that is very lightweight, while still retaining a good degree of strength. This is highly valuable to the Diloforce, as the armour it has is composed of thin sheets that are made more to repel small-arms fire than heavy-duty Zoid weaponry. Very little of the structure is exposed, with gaps on the forearms and the lower legs being the most noticeable. Originally the Diloforce had an open cockpit, but a new layer of increased-strength armour has been added, to protect the pilot. The cockpit is located on the back, so it is illegal to attack there.

Mobility and Power Source
The Diloforce, being based off a small dinosaur, sports many of the attributes of such a creature. The Diloforce is quite agile and manoeuvrable, able to make large leaps and fairly tight turns. It is not quite as manoeuvrable as a Rev Raptor, but certainly manages to keep up with the best of them. However, the core it uses is a fairly old style, which releases large bursts of power and takes a long time to recuperate. The Diloforce has a rather high top speed, but can only run at this speed for a short while before tiring out. The comfortable running speed of this Zoid is 230 kilometres per hour. Once the core is exhausted, it will take a fairly long period of time to recharge, so pilot the Diloforce with that in mind. However, the other features of the Diloforce are designed to be high-efficiency models, so energy consumption tends not to be as much of an issue with them.

E-Shield
The large frill around the Diloforce’s neck is not just there for show. It is an advanced E-Shield generator unit, which can create a shield as strong as a Shield Liger’s. When activated, the frill glows diffusely, and a banded shield is formed around the Diloforce. This shield is unique, because when it forms, it creates a ring that protects all the front, sides and back of the Diloforce, but not the top or bottom. The shield the Diloforce generates is created in such a way that it provides excellent defense against energy-based attack and explosive, but plain projectile weaponry tends to be more effective against it. The Diloforce can move while the E-Shield is activated, but due to the lightweight nature of the Diloforce, shield rams are not advisable.

Small-Bore Charged Particle Cannon
Mounted on top of the head of the Diloforce is a strange set of two red frills, which seem to be decorative in nature. However, in reality they are small particle collector units, designed to power the weapon inside the mouth of the Diloforce. Installed inside the mouth of this light anti-infantry Zoid is actually a very small Charged Particle Cannon. This cannon is the only ranged weapon of the Diloforce, but has quite a lot of power in it. To use the Small-Bore Charged Particle Cannon, the Diloforce must lock itself down into the ground using its large Hyper Attack Claws, so it is not ruined by the recoil of the cannon. Then, the particle frills begin gathering particles from the atmosphere and charging them, a process which takes about three seconds. Once the particles are all collected, the Diloforce can fire a tiny Charged Particle Beam from its mouth. This is a continuous fire beam that lasts for about six seconds in total, but has a tiny aperture, around 15mm. However, the concentrated beam of charged particles makes the Small-Bore Charged Particle Cannon excellent for slicing through Zoid armour and cutting up internals with relative ease. Once used, the Charged Particle Cannon takes roughly three seconds to cool down, before you can attempt to use it again. Almost all the power is provided from the particle frills, so this doesn’t consume much of the internal energy of the Diloforce. Of course, if the frills are destroyed, the Diloforce loses its only long-range weapon.

Tail Sword
Installed on the tail of the Diloforce is a deadly alloy sword. When not in use, the tail sword remains within the tail, but once in use, it flicks out and upwards, pointing directly backwards in the end. This allows the Diloforce to slash apart any enemies that try to attack it from behind. The blade is made of a super-tough material that is very difficult to break, being several times stronger than the armour that protects the Diloforce.

Laser Sword x2
On the outside of the knee joint on each leg of the Diloforce is a long hyper alloy blade, similar to the tail blade. Normally they face backwards, but with a simple command, they flick out to the side, ready to be used for brutal melee combat. The blades extend around two meters while in use, so they don’t have much cutting range. However, at the expense of precious energy, the Diloforce can charge the blades with laser energy, making them much more deadly, and extending their reach to around five meters. While these blades are highly dangerous, being mounted on the knee-joint means that the knees of the Diloforce have to take all the force of the slashing blows, and the knees and lower legs aren’t exactly strong. If you depend on the laser swords too much, you may find the legs bending out of shape, reducing speed and agility, or even snapping off, which would be a very bad thing indeed.

Hyper Killer Claw x2
The claws on the legs of the Diloforce are large, vicious things, sharpened to a deadly edge. They are made of the same heavy alloy as the swords, and can take a lot of punishment, but more importantly can deal it out. Slashing kicks and clawing frenzies are very much within the realm of this Zoid, and the huge jumping distances it can cover only enhances the deadly usefulness of these claws.
