Armour Description:
What the Godos is to the Republic, so the Iguan is to the Empire. Construction and menial task Zoids reequipped for grunt warfare, the Iguan is in most ways superior to the Godos. This is because the Empire is more militaristically minded than the Helic Republic, and spent more money retconning their Iguans. The armour coverage is roughly the same as that of the Godos, covering the chest, back, flanks, and head, along with the tail, but leaves the arms and legs and hips exposed. However, the armour that does grace the Iguan is roughly half again as strong as that of the Godos. The structure is almost identical to that of the Godos, and so just as strong.

Mobility and Power Source:
The Iguan has mobility about equal to that of the Godos. The Flexible Thruster Binders were originally meant to increase the agility, but because they are fixed into place in the hips serve only to increase speed whilst making the Iguan less agile at that top speed. This is counteracted by the fact that the Iguan has slightly better balance than the Godos, so at the top speed it is around as agile as a Godos. At lower speeds though, the lighter armour of the Godos make it a sight more agile than the Iguan, along with the Quad Shock Cannon throwing it off balance massively while firing. The core of the Iguan is inherently inferior to the Godos, so it can’t exert quite as much power for quite as long as the Godos can.

Twin Small-Bore Particle Beam Cannons
Mounted on either side of the stomach of the Iguan are two cannons that fire particle beams, and are the main firepower of the Iguan. The cannons each fire bursts of particle energy, with caliber strength of roughly 30mm. They can fire three times per second each, and are fixed facing forwards, so their usefulness is limited somewhat. Nevertheless, utilized well they are good, solid weapons.

Quad Shock Cannon
The forerunner to the Impact cannons of the Liger series Zoids, this is mounted on the left wrist of the Iguan and replaces its hand. The QSC fires high velocity 50mm rounds that shatter upon impact with the armour, causing little piercing damage, but are excellent at cracking the armour itself. The only issue with the QSC is the range, which is limited to a lowly 100 meters before the effectiveness deteriorates rapidly. Each cannon can fire one shot per second.

Dual AZ Laser Machinegun
Mounted on the tail of Iguan, facing backwards, is this small gun. Featuring a barrage of firepower roughly equal to 30mm blasts due to their Anti-Zoid designation, the gun can fire eight shots per second from each barrel. The gun aims where the tail is pointed.

Twin Small-Bore Antiaircraft Laser Machinegun
Mounted on the back of the Iguan, pointing straight up over the shoulders, are these cannons. Similar in design to the guns of the Godos, these guns fire roughly eight shots a second, and work on the same principle, but with smaller channels of energy. The fired blasts are roughly 45mm in caliber and when they burst, scatter the air with bursts of energy equal in caliber to 5mm shots.

Gripper Vice
The right claw of the Iguan has been strengthened and toughened up, now able to hold onto Zoids and apply pressure. How much? About enough to break a Guysack’s leg, so nothing very impressive, sadly.

Flexible Thruster Binder
Installed in the hips of the Iguan are two boosters that each provide 25 km/h worth of thrust to bring it to the top speed. Running at that speed makes the Iguan unstable, so the Flexible Binder System serves to bring the mobility of the Iguan at 200km/h up to it’s mobility level at the normal 150 km/h.
