Solaris - January 11, 2006 12:35 AM (GMT)
December Stardust Cup
After-Christmas Massacre
Date: January Twentieth

Battlemode: (Team)
Distance: 500 meters, arranged in a circle around the Draconis. The challenger zoids are arranged equidistantly, clockwise, based upon order of initiative.
Prizes for the Tourney
Best in Show: One Wish
Sole Survivor: One Wish
Second Place: Custom Part/Zoid Commission
Best Sportsman: One Free Modification
Best CSFs: Free Repairs and One Free Modification
Participation: 50,000 to the pilot's personal funds
A Tourney almost as historic as the Royal Cup, this fight carries a great deal of prestige in winning its cup. To have done so a pilot must defeat ace pilot Solaris Druidine in his favored zoid, the mammoth Draconis, and a host of other pilots eager for the cup. It is the original 'Big Bad Battle' and is always a blast.

This is going to take place now, in game time. It's part of the Royal Cup Tournaments, and its outcome will help determine standings in the Cup. Naturally, the Trick or Treat battle thingie interferes with that; Mia has decided to call it a no contest and give everybody Participation prizes ('cept Hank and Kyne, who're removed from the battle and not allowed prizes.)
Alright. So here's how this thing goes. Everybody can enter as many pilots as they wish. You can bring anything you want into here.
You'll be facing an ancient monster of a zoid, the Draconis. It will be piloted by none other than yours truly, in the persona of Solaris Druidine. I'll be coming at you hard, fast, and painful.
It'll be a blast. Join up.

January 20th? *twitches* Um, I'll sign up with all 5 characters, assuming I'm back from my bushwalk. It's January 20th it wraps up, and given that I live in Australia, I may have recovered just enough to participate. Is it AIM or Arena?
Silberner Falkestern - January 11, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
All of mine are in for this since I didn't get to participate last year ;.;

x-x; I'm in! *dies* Stupid.. Friday.. 13th..
Solaris - January 16, 2006 06:42 PM (GMT)
It will be Arena. I don't want to try judging this thing on a library computer in half-hour increments. I know it sounds like fun, but . . .
Mia, don't knock Friday the Thirteenth. It was my last day of high school. Beat that, pansies.
Oh, all you MMMers . . . your deaths shall be in Li'l Al's honor. So fear. Fear for your lives.
(Mia, this is how you do horror. You tell them what you're going to do to them, you tell them as you're doing it, and then you do it again. Lather, rinse, repeat until dead.)

The fight takes place tomorrow, kibbles and kiddies. I'm moving out the post where y'all can see it. Feel free to post your starting stuff in it. It's possible to post combat actions, but highly ill-advised - 'cause then the Drac would just focus on you.

Second Place: Jenny Xaratan

I had to think on those decisions, pilots. We had some excellent performances there, including some from pilots whose time in the spotlight had to be curtailed.
Anybody pointing out that I made out like a bandit on this one will be beaten. Severely.
