Title: Strategic Warfare
Description: New Event!
The Keeper - November 25, 2005 04:52 PM (GMT)
Alright Kiddies, as an apology for the lack of activity seen on the site I'm starting up an event! Now this isn't a normal battle to say the least, it's an event that requires teamwork, patience, strategy, and let me say it again- teamwork! Here's the rough draft of what you might be going through.
Terrain: A vast terrain consisting of raises levels of land, small splotches of forests, and several enemy guarded spires.
Distance: Ranging from 2000 to 3000 meters, still deciding. Also counts on how many people are interested in the event.
Enemy/Enemies: You'll be facing dozens of low level zoids. Which? Well look at the Zoid lists and get an idea.
Map: I'm working on it.
Goal: To destroy the Final Spire at the very end of the map.
I'll update this post when I finish the map and the final details. The Map and how many enemies is entirely based on how many are interested in this little event. Just post here if you feel you want to or your thinking of joining in.

Question darling...Couldn't someone just pick an aireal Zoid, like mine, and simply fly to the spire?

Oh of course! Though there is the chance of being mobbed by 30 Zabats. o-o When I said Hordes of Zoids I meant Hordes of Zoids. This is something you gotta deal with piece by piece unless you wanna get mobbed down and end up crashing down to your fiery graves. o-o There ARE ways to avoid being mobbed, you just gotta be patient.

Why do I get the feeling Siren's going to not have a Zoid by the end of this? XD I want to be in it though.

Oh Mia darlin', you're forgettin' something mighty important.
This is MC:CAN.
Small does not equate pansy. Therefore, Hordes of Zoids is gonna be a real killer. Oh, and expect Kyne and Krew if I can wrangle it. I'm gonna be taking up jogging, and jogging to the library sounds like an excellent proposition.

Oh don't worry, "Hordes of Zoids" only happen if you try to run PASSED a spire without annihilating it. The amount of enemy Ground Zoids and the amount of enemy Aerial Zoids on the field counts entirely on how many of each are on the squad.

I would like to be a part of the event as long as the fact that I don't have a full team does not stop me

Like I said in IM, it shouldn't. Although I have suggested to Mia that this be the second round of the Royal Cup.
Only zoids won't get repaired in between things.
I do strongly suggest that PCs work together until the end of the thing. There'll be fewer Judgemen, and enemies will be crawling all over the place. They'll be the better Teams of the world (possibly even laid out by yours truly) and so you'll have to work together anyways to get to the end. One Team alone can't pull it off; they'd be swarmed and wiped out.
I'll see to that personally.
However, it can't happen until the Halloween Thingie. Therefore, I'll institute that and have Mia do the Judging.
