Title: Zoids Portal, a zoids site like no other

nick - September 19, 2005 03:30 AM (GMT)
Hello! I'm Nick, creator and owner of Zoids Portal! A lot of hard work and thought have gone into the creation of this website. Zoids Portal is no ordinary forum, it is actually very extra-ordinary.

As many of you may already have noticed the Zoids community has dwindled to a very few, brave, and cunning group of warriors who dwell on small forums scattered throughout the internet. The purpose of Zoids Portal is to both promote and join all of these groups into one mega fanbase to give even cocky gundam fans something to stare at. A link to every Zoids webpage will be placed on the front page portal, and if they wish to return the favor they are more than welcome to, but we do not demand it. The purpose is to serve as a portal to all Zoids websites and zoidfans to connect with each other. Once we have united the Zoids World, we will spread the word to others as well and promote zoids as a whole. If sucessful, we plan to spread Zoids Portal to more languages and recruit those from all countries by advertising on japanese sites. While it seems far away and difficult, these are the goals that have been set for Zoids Portal.

Now those of you who may have searched the forum before reading this may have come across the "Online Database". What is it? Well quite simply it is a Peer 2 Peer network within a forum. The staff of Zoids Portal asks you to upload, write-up, and post any Zoids media that you may come across, with permission of it's original owner. We will also be starting a program where custom images and screenshots will be released to the public as open source, so people will not have to worry about what is whos etc. The goal of the database is to gather the largest compilation of Zoids media on the internet. We invite both Websites and individuals alike to promote themselves and their materials to the database. We would be grateful.

Thank you for your time and please stay and relax a while, while me may be small now, with your help we can become the largest anime community on the web smile.gif.

your friend,

Nick

*somehow missed this topic and groans*

I did it again. >_<;

Anyway, Nick, it would've been nice if you had told me you were going to advertise another site like this.. I know I'm not Rit but sometimes I like being told these things. <_<;

*So forgot to tell Mia yesterday that she saw it XD*
The rules say no advertising except with permission from Sol (Or Mia if Sol goes poof like this.) And wouldn't this go into the advertisement forum to begin with?

(FYI Nick, it's Metal Combat: Century After Next, not Metal Combat. o.o)

And when Solaris comes back thanks to the wonderful public libraries, he really doesn't like to find out that somebody's decided to totally flaunt our rules.
Well, okay. I don't like it even when I've not had one of the most trying months of my life. Mia, see about setting up a proper affiliation with these folks.
I'm moving this topic over to ads. If I've a mind to, I'll probably give Nick a tongue-lashing for flagrant disrespect. 'Cause posting an ad without joining my site is a helluvalot like spam. In fact, it is spam. The only reason I'm keeping this link is because the Zoids community is getting pretty slim, and I don't have the time to be online at all hours of the day.
