Armor Description:
The Blade Liger uses a body very similar to the Shield Liger, and thus also has poor armor coverage. The head is completely covered, as are each of the hips, leaving the rest of the Zoid unarmored. Where it covers, the armor is exceptionally tough, as much as the Hound Soldier in durability and thickness. However, the Blade Liger has exceptionally durable structure, possibly some of the toughest structure around. Being developed for physical prowess, it wouldn't do to have this beast come apart with a little fire to its legs. Its main weaknesses are exposed wiring and hoses running along the legs, but even those are heavily reinforced or squirreled away to protect them from blasts. Despite the poor armor coverage, the Blade Liger is one tough cookie.

Mobility and Power Source:
The Blade Liger is a tough Zoid to pilot. It requires the pilot to manage many different systems simultaneously, and being a high-performance Zoid, builds up heat extremely fast. That said, the Blade Liger is an absolute beast. It's 124 tons of death in a can, and it's even more agile and responsive than the Shield Liger. It's a good parallel to the Zaber Fang for turning and agility, and its physical strength surpasses even an overclocked King Liger. The core, as well, has better endurance and can hold up against demanding maneuvers and exertion more than other feline Zoids. It's still no Command Wolf or aerial for sheer endurance, but it's a physical beast nonetheless.

E-Shield Generator
On the top and bottom of the mane of the Blade Liger, behind the head, are a pair of blue panels. They look like armor but they can be extended out of the mane to act as shield generators and create a powerful energy shield in front of the Blade Liger. Like the Shield Liger's shield, it is strongest in the center, but it also extends partly to the sides and over the top of the Blade Liger. It's an improvement over its predecessor in that it's overall 30% stronger, and features an improved disintegration effect should something try to bull its way through.

Completion Refrigerator x4
The Blade Liger is roughly the same size as the Shield Liger, but is over thirty tons heavier, and boasts vastly improved performance. The consequence? It builds up a massive amount of heat. The completion refrigerators offer a partial solution. Cycling coolant through the whole of the Zoid, the pipes lead to these four units on each of the Liger's four hips. The refrigerators are spiny, radiator-like units that dump the excess heat into the air. They're large targets, and the Liger pilot must take care to protect them. Though they're very well armored from the front, the fragile cooling vanes are exposed from the rear. Finally, should they not be activated by the pilot, the Liger will build up enough heat to rupture its cooling system and fall unconscious within a scant twelve seconds.

Laser Sabers x2
Two long, sharp fangs located in the mouth of the Blade Liger. They can be charged up with laser energy for a lot of damage. Coupled with the Blade Liger's physical strength, these enable the Liger to rip an enemy to shreds in the feral world of melee combat.

Strike Claw x4
One on the end of each of the Blade Liger's legs, these claws have four toes made of sharp, extra-strength alloy. The Blade Liger, being a heavy, large, and physically powerful Zoid, can inflict some prodigious damage with these, despite the fact that they don't charge.

AZ208mm double-barreled Shock Cannon
Mounted under the chest and locked in a forward facing position. Each barrel is approximately 208mm. These things hurt badly, and feature improved explosive power over their predecessors on the Shield Liger. Being fixed in place, it's almost impossible to hit something when you're running, unless you're firing at pointblank, which these are made for. They have a maximum effective range of 200 meters, after which the accuracy is simply shot, but are refined and reinforced to be nigh-impossible to disable.

Rocket Boosters
Replacing the Shield Liger's back-mounted 20mm beam cannons are a pair of pop-up, inter-connected boosters. Despite their name, they're not actually rockets, but ion vents that boost the Liger's running speed a total of 45 kph from its normal running speed of 260 kph. Note, however, the use of the term booster. These aren't thrusters, like on aircraft and naval Zoids, and aren't integral parts of moving the Liger. That said, they're designed for a quick *gasp* boost of speed or thrust, and are recommended to only burn for three seconds at a time. More than that runs the risk of overloading the regulator units and ion capacitors, either of which could result in poor consequences for the Zoid. Finally, the booster unit can rotate 360 degrees on the horizontal plane, and even incline a bit.

Laser Blade x2
The King Liger may have been the original blade-attack Zoid, but the Blade Liger perfected it. Its blades are approximately 6 meters long and mount to the back via highly mobile pylons. The blades can be held on the back, to the sides and fully extended, or to the sides and flipped forward or backward. Not only that, but they can be charged with laser energy in any position. Be careful not to hold the charge too long, else you run the risk of damaging the nearby pulse lasers. Though the blades are nigh-unbreakable, their mounts are not, so the Blade Liger pilot best protect them.

30mm Pulse Laser Gun x2
A small pulse laser gun mounts to the back of each of the blades, and is capable of pointing wherever the tip of the blade does. Like most standard pulse lasers, it's a very accurate laser-based repeater firing bolts of light at the rate of eight per second each. They're fairly cut and dried, but invaluable for quick suppression fire, as each bolt hits like a 40mm machine gun bullet.

3D Dual Sensor
Equipped to the tail of the Blade Liger is a basic sensor with 3D Mapping and a radar on an oscillating frequency. It's a bit less susceptible to interference than most radar systems, but it is a radar system and nothing more, and can be fooled by radar-defeating devices, as well as devices that bend light on the visible spectrum.
