Nationality: Imperial
Zoid: Gator
AIM: Kiyomizu Kitsune

Personality
Amy has a Standoffish attitude, but not because she’s a loner, In fact she likes the feeling of being surrounded by other people. She only avoids crowds when she’s writing, finding them a nuisance and a distraction. And the fact that she writes seventy percent of the time qualifies as a standoffish attitude. Amy is exceptionally good at multitasking, a skill she developed over the years to aid her in her writing. Mostly just so she won’t get in trouble for not knowing what everyone is talking about and so she won’t have to stop writing just to listen.

As a writer, Amy does a lot of research to make sure that her information is right and not something developed by her imagination and she’s just thinking it’s right. Her curiosity is the easiest trait to rile. If it’s even remotely interesting, she’ll eventually look it up to find out all about it.

Amy was never used to being needed in combat, much less listened to. With Jeremy and Kizuna listening to every bit of advice and strategy she gives out and using it in battle, it’s quite a change from her experience with her two older brothers who ignored her information and often lost because of their ignorance. This leads her to work harder for her two friends, if not just to please them, then to embrace the feeling of victory- a victory she aided their team in.

Background
Amy was youngest child of three born into a higher-middle classed Briggs family who lived in the city of Valesck. Amy’s parents were hard working, with her father working as a Doctor and her mother as a Professor in writing for one of the nearby colleges. They did their best to be able to give their children the best so that their family would be well off and (for the most part) problem free. So Amy and her two older brothers, Eldan and Ian were never put into a hard financial situation.

Amy was the youngest of three siblings, and since she was the baby of the family she was often treated as such. Her brothers watched out for her while her parents tried to baby her, all the while restricting what she could do and couldn’t do because they were paranoid that something would happen to their baby girl, all much to her dismay and annoyance. Their restriction made her to stay at home more often then she’d like, this lead to her to her interest in writing. With the large amount of spare time she had at home, Amy was able to develop her skills in writing, giving her, in some way or another, a sense of freedom.

Mr. And Mrs. Briggs worked early morning and ended sometime late at night. Either would be home for a short period of time to prepare dinner everyday and then head back to work, so they weren’t home a lot. To remedy this they went on family trips and outings, spending time as a family to try and balance out their usually busy schedules so that the kids wouldn’t be affected by their lack of time at home. Mr. Briggs often believed that introducing the kids to new and exciting experiences would lead to healthy lives. So he would bring them hiking, swimming at a natural lake, and even experience Falconry- All at their vacation home by the lake.

Amy wasn’t very good with the outdoors, always preferring writing about it rather than actually experiencing it. She did however enjoy Falconry with her father, who taught her a lot about falcons and how to train and raise them. Other then that, Amy spent a good deal of these outings in the summer house typing away at her laptop or chatting with her mom.

School was always something Amy looked forward to. Because of the six-seven year age difference with her brothers, she was never in the same school with them. And she would constantly get good grades and comments from her teachers, making it so that her parents would never have any reason to bug her about her school life other then the occasional ‘how was school today?’. Amy had a nice group of friends at school, they would hang out after school and chat or goof around (as long as there was another girl in the group at the time of course).

After graduating highschool, Amy enrolled into the University of Valesck to Major in writing. A few months into the school year, she caught word from her father that her two brothers managed to scrounge up the money for two Alpha zoids and created a team. Thinking that this would be a nice experience for her, Mr. Briggs bought her an Alpha zoid and registered her with the ZBC as an official pilot so she could join her two brothers. As much as she didn’t want to at first, Amy was pulled into the world of Zoid battling. Due to her curious nature, Amy had a bit more information then her brothers on the zoids they usually went up against. Using her extensive research and the Gator’s capabilities, she was able to help her brothers grasp a few victories- that is, when they actually listened to her ideas. After a dispute with her brothers about how she wasn’t really a part of the team, Amy withdrew from the team and buried herself in her studies and writing.

Her father was a little disappointed that things didn’t work out and was about to sell her Gator back to the ZBC when he caught word from his brother that Jeremy and a friend of his made a Zoid team. Seeing the convenience of Mondego being so close to the University (and having never really liked the dorms there), Mr. Briggs had a talk with Jeremy’s parents in hopes that Amy could possibly move in with their son and join his team. A month later, Amy had moved in with her cousin and after meeting Kizuna- got a job at Midnight Meadows to work at the storefront. Much like the other two, she didn’t treat zoid battling like the center of her life. For the most part she’d put her classes and schoolwork before anything to do with zoids.

Appearance
Amy stands at 5'4" with dirty blond hair (usually in pigtails tied up with ribbons) and blue eyes, brown when she puts on her contacts. Her casual clothing style was usually a long skirt (reaches just above her ankles) and a button up long sleeved shirt. When battling, she would wear a pair of beige capris and a short sleeved white t-shirt. In either case she’d wear her favorite pair of worn out sandals.

Her most important possession was a silver and gold locket from her mother (which she embarrassingly has yet to figure out how to open) and her falconry equipment which she uses to raise her Saker falcon, both of which are from her father. Although the locket and the equipment was important to her, Amy’s most valuable possession (at least to her) was an old laptop she’d carry around with her which she’d use for school work, writing, and occasionally surfing the web.
