Armor Description:
The Helcat, being designed primarily for recon, scouting, and quick strike missions instead of heavy assault, doesn't have much in the way of armor. It covers the entire body and isn't too shabby considering its size, but overall it's still relatively weak. The name of the game with the Helcat is stealth, not taking damage.

Mobility and Power Source:
Like most small Zoids, the Helcat doesn't tire easily. Even running and dodging about, firing its energy weaponry, the Helcat can maintian a respectable clip. However, it's not particularly strong physically, and shouldn't be taken into melee whatsoever, unless you're either brave, stupid, or fighting a Zoid largely inept at melee such as a Molga. On the upshot, the Helcat, being a cat, can climb inclines up to 60 degrees easily with its traction and even leap from obstacle to obstacle in mountainous terrain.

Stealth Shield
Unlike the Shadow Fox's optical stealth camouflage, the Helcat's stealth shield is designed to make the Helcat completely invisible at any range or speed. However, the Helcat is temporarily revealed every time it fires a weapon. Also, while the stealth shield is activated the Helcat can't use its standard visual sensors. Instead, it goes into a semi-night vision mode working off the radar and infrared. Large flashes of light or heat can temporarily blind the unwary pilot.

IR and Noise Suppression
The Helcat features many interesting internal mechanisms including a silencing capability on its legs and a constantly circulating heat dispensing system throughout it's body. Together, the Helcat can make itself move with little to no noise and a significantly lessened heat signature, making it nearly invisible to infrared and audio sensors. It won't be absolutely invisible to IR and audio, but it's as close as you're going to get.

Composite Sensor Unit
Consisting of infrared tracking, 3D mapping, and radar, this sensory unit allows the Helcat to see almost any stealth Zoid and map out the nearby terrain. It is a small box located on the front of the back near the neck. Due to its position, it's almost impossible to target, but the electronics could be damaged by splash from explosives.

3D Radar Antenna
The Helcat's tail not only offers balance for the Helcat but also serves as a 3D Radar Antenna. Other than consisting of the 3D mapping and radar already available to the composite sensor unit it also is capable of transitting the data to other Zoids.

20mm double-barreled Laser Machine Gun
Mounted on the chest in a forward locked position. These little 20mm machine guns, being laser-based, are very accurate. Not only that, they fire lasers on the ultraviolet spectrum, making their fire invisible to the naked eye. The downside is that they're exceedingly hard to aim. The pilot can control the amount of visible bleed, meaning that they can either appear purple, or invisible. The latter is far stealthier, but the former is much easier to aim.

AZ20mm double-barreled Beam Cannon
Mounted on the back in a forward facing position, these can rotate 90 degrees horizontally and incline 30 degrees up and 10 down. These are more powerful than they appear, and they're quite accurate out to one kilometer. They're about as close to a sniper weapon you'll get on the Helcat, firing three rounds per second each with accuracy aided by the radar and infrared. It's best to use these in stealth mode for the extra flow of targeting information the stealth vision provides.
