Pointy Darkness' Gustav rolled up onto the battlefield. The Falkestern twins were sitting in their Zoids and as soon as the Gustav stopped, the trailers opened. Silberner's Redhorn and Siren's Hound Soldier walked out of their trailers. Hughes sat inside of the Gustav next to Chris, deciding that he would not be in this battle. Silberner opened up a comm to her teammates.

"Who're we fighting today again?"

Siren sighed at her absent-minded sister.

"Team Silverhammer. Y'know the one with the Saber Tiger and Shield Liger?"

"Oh yeah. This sounds like it's going to be fun, sis."

Mark pulled the Gustav onto the battlefield, noticing the opponent’s zoids already there. “Team pointy Darkness”, called out over the open channel to Atta, “This is going to be interesting and most likely difficult for us. They appear to have a Red Horn and Hound Soldier waiting for us. You ready?”

“I am ready, Mark. This should be interesting.” Came the reply from Atta, as he finished running his internal checks.

After the Gustav had parked, Mark got form the Gustav and headed to his Saber Fang while Atta stepped off the trailer, with Mark close behind.

“Remember what we discussed Atta”
“Understood.”

The two zoids of Team Silverhammer headed to the battlefield, ready to face their first battle.

The battlemode's 0982, the distance 500m and terrain is Open Plains. This is an MMU. Make with the killmaim.

As soon as the battle started, Siren's Hound Soldier ran forward diangonally to the right at 250kmh in an attempt to stay out her sister's line of fire. The Hound Soldier's lances flipped out as the Hound suddenly leapt into the air, turning the boosters on for a couple of second before turning them off. Silberner's Redhorn aimed at the Shield Liger, firing a two second burst from the CP-03 at it. She then targeted the Saber Tiger and let loose all of her missiles at it.

'Red Horn with CP-03. Best bet: sheild up.' was Atta's though process as the battle began.
Atta activated his shield while at the same time also establishing a missile lock on the redhorn. After the shield had formed, Atta charged towards the Red Horn at about 200 kph while taking as smuch evasive action as possible. Agter receiving fire for 2 seconds and recalling the limitations of the CP-03 unit, Atta lowered the shied, brought the AMD double-barreled 20mm Beam Cannon into position and fired it at the red horn's front legs. 8 missiles launch when they had a lock on the red horn and Atta's shield was lowered.

Mark also headed for the Red Horn, moving towards it at about 150 kph in the hopes of etting better accuracy. Mark takesthe time to get a visiual lock with his 3 shot missile pod adn launches all 3 when ready. The Beam guns and the small bore laser machine gunes and AZ30mm Double-barreled Beam Cannon, up fire on the red horn as well.

The Red Horn lays down some serious fire, spraying both zoids before coordinating with Siren and concentrating on the Shield Liger. Atta's shield rippled as the beams penetrated, easily passing through it. The Hound Soldier arced out, then came in towards the Shield Liger.
Atta continued running, then paused when the Hound neared. Siren lined up her shot, aiming the lances for the Liger's center of mass, then gasped aloud when they bent and crumpled against its matrix.
Atta whipped around, half-pouncing as it wrapped its paws around the Hound and mauled the tar outta it.

The good news is, their peashooters really didn't do all that much damage to the Red Horn.

Damage and Positions:
Siren -- Under the Shield Liger. MMMers insert jokes here. Lances are gone.
Atta -- Not much physical damage. Shield is down to seventy percent.
Mark -- Unknown damage. About fifty meters behind Atta.
Sil -- Unknown damage. About three hundred meters from Atta and Siren.

Atta looked down at the hound soldier he was on top of, opening his mouth in a display of his teeth. The shield liger looked like he had just swallowed a Zabat. The 3 barreled shock cannon fired, aiming on for the armor on the back of the Hound Soldier, trying to damage the armor that covered the Zoid control cable. Once the armor had been weakened, Atta charged up his Laser Sabers and moved in to sever the control cable. All the while Atta was taking care to keep his position on the hound soldier with the shield raised to prevent the hound from leaving Atta’s ‘invasive surgery’ and also taking care not to hit the core or cockpit.

Mark continued towards the Red Horn, increasing his speed to 200 kph and changing course slightly so he would be coming at the red horn from an angle to avoid the crasher horn, continuing to fire the beam guns, double barreled beam cannon and the small laser machine guns. The 3 barreled shock cannon joined in when it was in range. When he got close enough, Mark pounced onto the red Horn to maul it, taking care to avoid the Red Horn dangerous horn.

Silberner noticed the Saber Tiger coming towards her and grinned evilly. She aimed everything she could at the Tiger and let loose an all out barrage on it, using the CP-03 in two second bursts and letting it cool down. Siren, on the other hand, found herself in a bad situation and tried escaping from underneath the Liger.

The Saber Tiger charged on ahead, absorbing the fire to reach its foe. The Red Horn laid down plenty fire for the Tiger to absorb, though.
Atta took a moment to finish off the Hound before falling in line behind the Tiger. The two zoids charged the Red Horn, breaking to circle around like hunting cats.
Sil tracked the Saber Tiger. It'd taken the most damage, and would be the softest target. When it pounced, her horn was ready to almost cleave through the soft flanks.
Atta, on the other hand, was rather safe as he pounced onto the Red Horn's back, sinking his claws in and overbalancing the fortress. His weight carried him over the other side. The Red Horn almost fell over, but maintained its balance.

Damage and Positions:
Zwei and Siren are down. Atta just got done flying over the Horn's back, whilst the Horn is turning around to make with the killmaim. No weapons are reported as destroyed on either one of the two zoids still up.

Sil had an evil glint in her eyes as she turned towards the Shield Liger. The Redhorn stampeded towards the Shield Liger, head down and ready for contact.

"Hello, Mr. Shieldy. Why don't you and my crusher horn meet personally, hm?"

She slammed her Redhorn into the Shield Liger, forcing the horn upwards through the Shieldy and then firing her Acid Cannon.

Atta turned quickly back, computing the need to get onto the red horn's back. Atta pounced onto the back, hoepfully avoid the evil horn, and unleashing the 3-barreled shock cannon onto teh back before diging in with claws and laser sabres.

Atta sidestepped as the Red Horn wheeled around, and then he pounced once more. Landing on the Horn's back and delivering volley after volley from the shock cannon, he destroyed the back-mounted equipment rather quickly.
And then he basically started digging.
It was all over. With Sil down, Team Pointy Darkness was defeated. The Judgeman flipped down the green paddle, declaring Silverhammer to be the winner.
