Name: Ryan Morgan
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Nationality: Republic
Zoid: Spinosapper

Personality
Ryan's a pretty laid-back sort of guy, and fancies himself to be perhaps the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not only that, he's plenty open about his arrogance, which has gotten him into trouble in the past. Since forming Team Turbine with Bryce and Gareth and taking up his position as Captain, he only got worse. Which wasn't that unexpected, seeing as how anyone even moderately attractive could look like a supermodel next to Bryce, and as Captain, he was able to take credit for whatever victories they could manage. Despite all of that, though, he's actually not that bad of a guy - open-minded and friendly, amongst other things - though tolerating his "I'm better than you are" attitude isn't always easy.

Background
Ryan was born an only child - and from day one, was spoiled. His parents were actually quite far from wealthy - his mom was a stay-at-home type, and his dad was a construction worker. Despite that, he grew up in a very loving enviornment. He attended school, and was actually not all that smart - going off grades, at least. Ryan was more of the class-clown type. While he often got in trouble with teachers because of that, it did wonders for his social life.

He lived in a medium-sized suburban neighborhood where there were plenty of kids of all ages to play with. His parents were quite thankful for that fact, because it meant keeping him out of the house. The building itself was small and cramped, and Ryan didn't even really have his own bedroom. Instead, he slept on a pull-out bed in the livingroom, where he spent most of his time when he was at home because of the computer located there.

The neighborhood was within walking distance of several things. A supermarket, a skating rink, a bookstore, a library, a few restaurants, a small movie theatre, and his school. With all the distractons so close, Ryan never had any trouble finding something to do. The fact his school was so close just made it easier for him to find something to do when he felt like cutting class, which made his life just a bit sweeter.

Despite his general dislike of class, he enjoyed school quite a bit, especially as he got older. He got plenty of attention from girls because he was attractive, outgoing, and didn't exactly fit the 'hot guys are jerks' stereotype. His parents didn't seem to mind at all when he didn't show up for dinner, staying out late with friends, or even on the occasions where he brought a girl home with him. Then again, his parents never questioned him, be it disappearing for days at a time or bringing home low grades, or even getting calls from teachers about disruptive behavior.

While Ryan was popular, he was a bit of a closet-nerd. He frequented several online forums, and would even cut school and work on occasion to stay home and surf the 'net. While he was lacking the money to afford a zoid of his own, he actually read up quite a bit on them. Later on, his dad managed to get him a Spinosapper quite cheap off of the construction company he worked for, and he trained with that as he searched the forums for people in his area looking to start a team.

He found he was actually decent with the Spinosapper, though had a bit of trouble finding places to practice and train.. mostly because he was secretive about his hobby. It was becoming trendy and cool to be a zoid pilot, and his reputation of being a nonconformist prohibited following after so many others and begging mummy and daddy for a zoid. Instead, he hung around the constructuon sites, where his zoid didn't look the slightest bit out of place. Nobody asked, and Ryan didn't tell. All was good.

Finally, after nearly a year of searching, Ryan met Gareth Shaw online. At first he was a bit skeptical of the older Zabat pilot, but Gareth managed to convince him none the less. They arranged a meeting at the restaurant where Gareth worked, The Attic, and discussed buisiness. There, Gareth informed him of another pilot he was working on training, who would be the final addition to their team.

Anxious and a bit annoyed at not having created the team that very moment, Ryan reluctantly agreed that he would wait. He continued living with his parents, keeping in touch with Gareth and stopping by the restaurant every so often. The time came when Gareth informed Ryan that he, and his unknown teammate, were finally ready to get serious about things. Ryan came back over to the restaurant, which Gareth now owned, and introduced him to Bryce.

It took every fiber of self-control in Ryan's body to not comment on the boy's appearance, but he managed to hold his tongue. It did him good in the end, as he managed to win over some form of friendship. Eventually, Ryan got a job at The Attic, working as a waiter. Together, they pooled their funds, and eventually saved up enough money to buy a place of their own. It was a large hangar of sorts, with a livingspace added in. He moved out of his parent's house, took his Spinosapper, and went to live with his new teammates. Gareth insisted that he be the captain, and naturally, Ryan accepted. With all that set, they finally became an official team - Team Turbine - and joined the Republican League.

Appearance
Ryan could almost be described as a stereotypical pretty boy. Standing at 5'11", he's got a pair of clear blue eyes and blond hair, all complimented by a fairly toned and tanned body. He holds himself with a sort of lazy air, traced with pride and confidence. His wardrobe consists of your standard stock of items - pants and jeans, shorts, and shirts - mostly in earth-tones. The only other striking feature of Ryan would be the tattoo on his left arm, from the shoulder to just above the elbow. Upon first glance it's just a mess of tangled lines of various thickness, but looking closer, you can make out a dragon of some sort

Restaurants are annoyingly common on this site, but approved. 52k.
