Armor Description:
The Gordos was the Republic's premier mobile fortress back in the day. Designed for endurance on long campaigns, its armor reflects its purpose. Of course, the Gojulas' more direct, frontline position and fearsome visage hogged the limelight of popular recognition and the Gordos was always portrayed as playing second fiddle. What few know was that the Gordos was nearly always in command of multiple Gojulae thanks to its advanced sensory set. The Gordos, designed to be supported in battle, has thick, heavy armor equal to that on the Gojulas covering its head, neck, back, the lower legs and the entirety of the tail. Uncovered are the flanks and upper legs, but they're at least equal in composition to the structure on the Blade Liger. Despite its lousy armor coverage, the Gordos has some serious staying power in battle.

Mobility and Power Source:
The Gordos is pretty huge, but despite its ponderous bulk, its four-legged stance means it's not too bad at maneuvering. It's certainly better at turning and accelerating than the Gojulas, and can turn in place at a decent rate. It's not quite as maneuverable as the Dibison, but it's no slouch. Well, OK, it is a slouch, but that doesn't mean anything can run rings about it. It's more than maneuverable enough to nail an unsuspecting opponent with its tail in melee combat. It can trot along for extended durations at 80kph, but finds it much less tiring to walk.

Titanium Spike x4
Like the real stegosaurus, the Gordos has four menacing spikes on it's tail. Made of strong, solid titanium, they make powerful melee weapons, able to bash straight through an opponent's hide with a single swipe of the Gordos' powerful, heavy tail. Definitely weapons not to be underestimated.

105mm High-Speed Railgun x2
One large cannon is mounted on either side of the back plates. Instead of using standard charges and propellant like regular cannons, these powerful guns use a series of electromagnets to launch a solid ferrous slug at speeds unimaginable for even a sniper cannon. The slugs have no onboard explosive charge, but their sheer kinetic energy allows them to blow through nearly anything. Even better, they're very, very accurate out to multiple kilometers. If they have one limitation, it's their slow firing rate. Due to the need to recharge their capacitors after use, each requires one round (roughly six seconds) to recharge after they've been fired.

TRZ 20mm Linear Laser Gun
Mounted on the left side of the back plates in front and slightly below the railgun. It has 90 degrees of horizontal pivoting to hit ground targets on the left side of the Gordos. Like the ARZ, it hits much like a 30mm cannon, but fires three shots per second.

ARZ 20mm Beam Gun
Mounted on the right side of the back plates in front and slightly below the railgun. It has 90 degrees of horizontal pivoting to hit ground targets on the right side of the Gordos. Like the TRZ, it hits much like a 30mm cannon, but fires three shots per second.

Panova 20mm surface-to-air Beam Gun x2
Mounted on the second to last back plate just over the base of the tail. They point upward and have a little bit of vertical pivoting to aim at air targets above and behind the Gordos. These things are basically beam machine guns, hitting like 20mm bullets, but firing fifteen rounds per second each. They're accurate out to three kilometers, and are best used for fending off aerial Zoids behind you.

AMD double-barreled 30mm Beam Cannon x2
Two 30mm beam cannons are mounted on the tip of the Gordos' tail. They can pivot 180 degrees on the horizontal axis, though care must be taken not to hit the Gordos itself. Overall, fairly cut and dried weaponry. They're constructed of hardened alloy to stand up to the abuse of being swung with the tail.

Maxer 30mm multi-purpose Machine Gun x2 - Two standard 30mm machine guns are mounted on either side of the tip of the tail with unlimited vertical pivoting. Like the beam cannons, the Maxers can aim wherever the tail can point as well as featuring 90 degree pivoting each direction. They're also constructed of stronger alloy, and feature an improved chamber mechanism, making them very tough to jam.

GPS Magnetic Detector
The advanced sensory system of the Gordos is located throughout the back plates. Effectively, it's a more robust version of the Gator's system. The Gordos, being designed as a command unit, features ground penetrating, all-weather 3D radar that interfaces with GPS satellite transmissions to provide a very accurate layout of the situation, and can transmit this data to up to fifty different Zoids within a ten kilometer bubble. While the data doesn't assist targeting much (approximately a 10% boost for all Zoids benefiting from it), it vastly improves team coordination by providing clear transmissions and frequently-updated enemy positions, as well as a very nice map of the terrain showcasing all this. The back plates are pretty durable, as well, but the more you lose, the worse this array's performance gets.
