One of the simplest modifications out there, the Pilebanker Unit is essentially a large jackhammer. It is a decidedly large trio of engines surrounding a sturdy, reinforced lance with a sharpened point. They pull the spear back and forth at a quick rate, allowing for the zoid mounting it to quite literally stab their foe dozens of times in a very short period of time – up to three per second.
Alternatively, the spear can fire. It has a maximum effective range of one hundred and eighty meters, firing at half the speed of sound. It hits with fairly good impact, and can generally be counted on to sink at least four of its twelve meters into the enemy.
On both zoids the Pilebanker Unit mounts on the left flank and is fixed facing forwards. The Rev Raptor is a mite more dangerous with it, seeing as how the li’l leaper can put it in good positions much quicker than the Iguan.
