Further In Depth Information
Personality: David is very intelligent, however, his appearance makes him come off a bit of a naive, or "red neck" type person. Despite his appearance, his intelligence, and personality completely differ from the steriotypes that may be given to his looks. He is also very stubborn, yet shy. He will not confront someone, or even say hello, but if he is confronted with an opinion that difference from his own, he will speak up, and argue his points.
Some people label him quiet and shy, while others, people who know him better, consider him smart, sarcastic and at some times violent. (only when alcohol is involved)
History: David was the son of a broken home, in that his parents fought often, which eventually led to a divorce. He was a quiet boy, who spent most of his time at home, watching tv, listening to music, or playing on the computer. His family's flaw made him antisocial, but this only benifited him as he learned more by using the computer as often as he did.
At the age of 13, David found himself in the apartment of his mother and step father. Often he would sneak out late and run off for the night with his few friends, or girlfriend. They would spend the night damaging property, or drinking. He was up to no good, however he was smart enough to never get caught. He went through a handful of girlfriends each year as each one seemed to find his habits, or lack of concern for them a bit too detouring. Eventually he began to forget at times if he even had a girlfriend.
David, although failing in school due to skipping several days a week, still continued his education beyond that of his class mates by learning different things online, and from television. He is a prime example just why every day living teaches you more than school ever could.
After his 16th birthday, his mother and step father began to fight. It was apparent his mother was unhappy with his stepfathers drinking problems, nd thus they argued often about it. David's stepfather began to hit David, when his mother angered him. David became a victim of his step fathers abuse untill he turned 17, after a year of taking these beatings, when he took out a hunters knife and killed his step father.
No charges were made against David for the murder of his stepfather as his mother lied, and claimed he came after David with a loaded rifle. Said ifle being one Davids mother planted on the scene of the crime. She statement was her husband came after her first, and in the protection of his mother, and himself, David attacked his step father. No one knows the truth asside from David and his now deceased mother.
David bounced from a variety of different jobs, ranging from delivering pizza, to bridge construction, however, when a friend of his purchased a beat down, and very old Rev Raptor, his interested dramatically changed. He began working on this Zoid with his friend, Kyle, and together they learned the basics of Zoids, and their mechanics. Zoids were not allowed in the big cities, so it was obvious why David had never seen one in person.
Over the years, Kyle and David learned a great deal more, and they both eventually became apprentice mechanics for a small Zoid garage and dealer. They worked twice as hard as anyone else, and only got half the pay. However, David and Kyle could not have been happier.
Too bad one summer, when David was 24, David and kyle were fired for one too many drinking on the job reports. David and Kyle, disappointed in their news, left work, only to crash at a near by bar. David can still remember Kyle screaming from inside, after he came back to the building, an hour after leaving due to an arguement between them. The bar had burned down, nothing but ashes, and among those ashes, was David's only true friend.
Since that day, David became a wanderer. he wandered all over, working for mechanics shops till they got tired of him, and moving on to the next town. Eventually he gained the money required to purchase his first Zoid, no matter how banged up it was. He repared it till it functioned properly, drinking heavily when not working on it, or working in general.
Currently he sleeps in his Zoid, and travels about, looking for a battle where he can win some spare cash. Every now and then he blindly goes out half drunk, and bangs up his Zoid, needing more money to repair it.
There're a few things I could pick out that I don't particularly like, but you seem fairly intelligent. I'll let it slide.
Approved. 55,000 credits.

By all means, pick at it, or myself all you like. I would rather prefer to be picked at, than just accepted. :P I didn't really read that whole thread on how to develop a character properly, as this one was still in the works. Perhaps I should have noted that before posting. My error, resulting in my penalty.
Yay for me being accepted, but isn't 55,000 credits far too many? :P Oh well, I have no disputes regarding this RPG, or how it is run. I shall take my credits, and run off to purchase a Zoid for myself. That is, after I pay more attnetion to this forums/RPGs setup, and regard the rules in purchase of a Zoid.
Thank you for the approval.
I want it going on record as I like this guy. The Apps are really just a place to show your writing ability and intelligence, anyways. Only real problem is him killing his stepfather, which is mostly due to my disliking body counts in a bio. That's what the RPs're for.
You'll be able to get a Delta-class, sure. You spend all of your money, though, and you're not gonna be able to get any mods for a while. My suggestion is, if you're good at combat, to go with an Alpha-class and mod that puppy like there's no tomorrow. There're a few reasons you won't know about, too.
I'll stick with a lower class Zoid untill I test the waters here and see just how deep the abilities of my combatants are. Besides, one of my favorite Zoids is available to me. So I'm pretty much set. I can remove the step father bit if you wish. That probubly knocks the history down a paragraph. I failed to note there was a limit to the amount of paragraphs due to my absense of patients to read every detail. :P
Absense of Mind is a great name for me.
The profile is more or less alterable depending on the rules here of character history. Basically a test to see how I enjoy such a biography of the character, however I do see some cliche content within of which I my decide to remove or alter upon approval to do such.
And yay, someone likes me... or, just my character... Something. :P
You can alter it as much as you like, once it's been approved. I suggest you alter it to carry out changes brought about by RP. Like what's going to happen to my characters' bios once I get around to fixing 'em after what happened in the Heroes storyline.
