Armor Description:
The Molga has armor covering its entire body from round end to pointy tail. Even the wheels are made of extra tough metal. The Molga's armor is about twice as thick as the armor of most other Zoids its size and as such it can take a huge beating, more so than any other B-rank Zoid. Combined with its low stature, small size, speed, and ability to travel in nearly any terrain and you have a very tough Zoid to damage. If it weren't for the Molga's weak offensive capabilities and inability to jump, claw, or bite, it would be quite formidable. As it stands, the Molga is small enough to get bullied around by larger Zoids in melee combat.
Mobility and Power Source:
The Molga was originally developed as an APC, and as such, it has great mobility to go along with its thickly armored shell. Of special note is the Molga's unique drive system; employing ten small legs (supplying 100kph) and a pair of large drive wheels (supplying 140 kph) the Molga has immense traction and drive power, as well as being almost impossible to CSF via limb loss. Due to mechanical inefficiency, the Molga's top speed with both legs and wheels is 200kph. It can turn in place, climb 90-degree inclines with its caterpillar legs, traverse the seafloor at 25 knots and even burrow slowly (read: 20 kph) through sand.
Laser Cutter
The laser cutter is a relic from the Molga's military days, when it was used to bore a hole in concrete large enough to drive through, then deposit a squad of infantry. Mounted in the mouth and around the rim of the "head," the Molga's laser cutter is difficult to use in a true Zoids battle. It's best used to saw and cut through armor rather than slash or stab. Consider it a more spread-out, weaker version of the Spinosapper's beam saws.
20mm Gatling Gun x4 -
Two are mounted on either side of the head of the Molga in a forward-locked position. While not particularly effective against larger battle mecha such as Zoids, these were used primarily to support the troops the Molga carried inside her shell. Each fires at a high rate of 20 small, armor-piercing rounds per second, obviously intended to gun down enemy infantry and light armor alike. Due to their stable fixed mount, they only face where the Molga's head faces, but the upshot is that they're a little more accurate than most rapid-fire weaponry.
Surface-to-air 2-shot Missile Launcher -
In the pop-out section of the Molga's body along the tail, there is a missile launcher packing 2 standard missiles. They can target via heat signature if the pilot takes the time to get a visual lock, and since they're consummate SAMs, they can acquire a lock very quickly. They're pretty fast and thus best used against air Zoids. Also, they fire forward at a 30-degree angle above the ground, effectively preventing them from being dumbfired against ground Zoids unless you're exceedingly close.
3D Radar Antenna -
Mounted on the tip of the tail it uses radar and 3D mapping to find most stealth Zoids. The 3D mapping allows the Molga to see a panoramic view of the situation, projected into the enclosed cockpit. These systems, however, can be fooled by radar-absorbent paint, which tends to scramble the enemy's precise location. The tail antennae are also constructed of tough alloys, and firmly braced in place. Creative pilots will note the fact that they're also quite sharp.
