The materials division of diVossi Industries is proud to announce its latest modification: the Combat Package. A melee upgrade for the Iron Kong, the Combat Package offers a plethora of high-tensile, reinforced alloy weaponry lovingly crafted for the express purpose of combining the Kong's strength with the ability to grasp weaponry, much like the human hand.

The Omni-Sheath, replacing the TVM missile launcher, can store up to two weapons, or one weapon and the included Tower Shield. A marvel of micro-robotics, the Iron Kong's pilot merely need place the weapon in the general vicinity of the sheath, and a set of small, enhanced-AI arms will take it from you for storage, eliminating any complications that could ensue when attempting to sheath one's weapon.

Please take note that the Kong really functions better when only one of its hands is occupied with a weapon. Double-wielding is possible, but the Kong won't be able to maneuver as well since it uses its arms for mobility.

Broadswords: The Combat Package includes two broadswords. A well-rounded weapon measuring ten meters from hilt to tip, with an eight meter blade, these swords are of medium weight, and can be swung very quickly. They're even sturdier than a Blade Liger's blades, being that they're forged from a solid piece of high-tech poly-weave reinforced composite, the pride of diVossi's Materials Division. All around, these are excellent weapons.

Morningstar: A large, spiked ball attached to the end of a high-strength rod. It's a mace designed to mutilate exposed structure, but tends to get stuck when used against thick armor; the spikes punch in but they're hard to dislodge. Given the Kong's brute strength, this usually means it picks up both the mace and whatever it's attached to. Due to its weight, it's unadviseable to wield another weapon or shield in the Kong's off hand.

Flanged Mace: The armor-defeating equivalent to the structure-defeating Morningstar. It's not as good at tearing through soft structure, but this massive chunk of flanged metal can batter through armor in a few good swipes. The most structurally sound of any of the weapons, the flanged mace is a real terror to armor, but due to its weight, is better off used alone.

Tower Shield: A huge chunk of metal weighing more than a Molga, this flattened barricade shield is nearly as tall as the Iron Kong itself. The shield can take a monstrous amount of damage, but the impact is transferred to the Iron Kong's arm holding it. Still, an extremely effective device in its own right, for defense and shield bashes alike. However, the shield is both bulky and heavy, and has a slight impact on the Kong's maneuverability.
