The ZBC, to make sure business keeps a good clip, has long had the tradition of instituting mandatory battles. Match-ups are selected based upon a lottery system. Each Tier is its own pool. Challenges are issued once a week on Saturdays, and only certain circumstances are accepted for turning the challenges down. Those include, but are not limited to, problems in real-life and an inability to get to the computer at least once a day. To keep things fair, there are no inter-Tier matchups unless a Team requests to be counted in a higher Tier's pool. If a Team wishes to back out of a week's match-up they will have to pay their opponent one hundred credits. Due to increased viewership, these matches will gain an additional one thousand credits per pilot.

The Mandatory Match-Ups are on hold until the end of summer break. Schedules are just too damn spotty right now.
