Despite what their high aperture might lend one to believe, the 250mm Maser Cannons are actually low-power and poorly-focused beams -- real beams, not those plasma-based weapons. They have low penetration, but are good at making things heat up. Against armor the Maser Cannon behaves almost like a 90mm cannon -- dealing widespread surface damage, but not punching through much of anything. The good news is that the energy drain is relatively low. The bad news is that the weapons're bulky, reducing the Command Wolf's agility somewhat. The boosters, if used judiciously, can compensate for that. The other zoids do not notice an appreciable decrease in performance.
A part unique to the Command Wolf and Tortoise, the boosters mount on the Wolf's lower hind legs and on the Tortoise's shell, just above where the Ontos would mount. They were included to compensate for the Wolf's decreased performance when it mounts the large masers. And the Tortoise's overall lack of speed. They can burn for up to three seconds before requiring a two-second recharge, each providing a thirty kilometer-per-hour increase in speed for the Wolf and a ten kilometer-per-hour increase for the Tortoise. A clever pilot can easily turn this speed boost into an agility boost.
The last piece is the radar antenna. Capable of both broadcasting and receiving information, it grants the mounting zoid an improved and updated radar, enhancing the onboard systems to a three-dimensional automap, including wireframes of zoids. Note that the system cannot penetrate optical stealth, as that bends radar waves as well as visible light waves. However, it does enable the zoid to transmit data to its allies, as well as receive data from them. This radar allows the zoid to get a very accurate picture of how far the enemy is, relative to its own position.

Moved Equipment:
The Cannon Tortoise doesn't lose anything. The Stealth Viper doesn't lose anything either. The Command Wolf, however, has the standard AZ50mm Beam Cannons removed. The Shadow Fox has the AZ30mm Laser Vulcan Gun removed. The Saber Tiger has the AZ30mm Dual Beam Cannon and 3-Shot Missile Pod removed.
