Armor Description:
The Godos is your basic, well rounded everyman Zoid. Stick a hat on it and give it a funny accent and it'd be Mario. In that light, the Godos is actually pretty tough. It's a no-frills design with a very solid internal structure and a thick layer of rather generic armor plating slapped on. The legs are the best protected, as is the tail and the shoulders. The chest isn't very well covered, along with the neck, but the Godos' sturdy structure is usually enough to counter that. The Godos' Zoid Control Conduit, unlike most Zoids, is buried in the direct middle of the neck, rather than on the back of the neck, making it a toughie to sever.
Mobility and Power Source:
The Godos has great mobility. Despite its clunky appearance, the little thing is agile, and can turn around quickly on its two chunky legs. It's got fairly good acceleration, and at top speeds, it bends down a bit farther, like the Aro Saurer and Rev Raptor, for optimal maneuverability at speeds. It's also got respectable endurance, and can run for a while before tiring out. It's no Command Wolf, but the Godos can jog with the best of them. Physically, it's stronger than one would expect, the better for picking things up with its little claws.
Weaponry and Equipment:
Crusher Claws x2
The two manipulator claws on the Godos. They're not too hot at crushing things, but they have a strong grip and can hang on tenaciously to whatever they can get their stubby little clawparts around. The Godos' build, like a miniature Gojulas, grants it exceptional stability and it can lift up to its own weight with these little things.
Laser Searcher
An early, budget-model tracking device. The laser searcher sends out an infrared laser to constantly scan a ninety-degree arc in either direction in front of the Godos. Located in the front of the head, the laser searcher can briefly ping metal objects in its line of sight, registering the "ping" on your radar screen. Despite being on the infrared spectrum, it can detect Zoids with heat suppression active, but it'll be fooled by visual cloaking such as that found on the Helcat. Best used when you're otherwise in the dark about your enemy's location.
Small-Bore Particle Beam Cannon x2
A nice set of primary weapons for the Godos, and the most powerful ones installed. Like most beam cannons, they fire bursts of particles encased in a laser-charged containment field that penetrates into an enemy's armor like a laser before bursting into an explosion not unlike a cannon shell. Beams are more powerful than lasers, shells, or bullets, but suck up the most energy. These particular beams are 30mm in caliber, and fire at a semi-automatic rate of two shots per second. They're large enough to do some respectable damage but small enough so that prolonged firing won't stall the Godos. Overall, respectable weapons.
Double-barreled Antiaircraft Laser Machinegun
A pair of laser machine guns located on the Godos' upper back, these fire laser bolts that hit like 20mm bullets, but with more piercing power. They can incline to almost straight forward, or face straight backwards. Each one fires ten red bolts of light per second.
Small-Bore Antiaircraft Laser Machinegun x2
Located on the middle of the tail, these are otherwise the same models as installed on the back. They can point anywhere from straight upwards to facing completely rearward. Like the back-mounted models, they hit like 20mm armor-piercing bullets, and fire at ten rounds per second each.
Smash-Up Tail
The Godos has a fair bit of muscle power to it, more so than one would expect from such a small Zoid. Like its big brother, the Gojulas, the Godos can swing its tail around and whack its enemies for great justice. To that end, the tip of the Godos' tail has a solid chunk of alloy welded onto the end, shaped (and flanged) exactly like a value-size version of a medieval armor-defeating mace.
