This modification replaces the Hound Soldier’s lances with high-tech variations on the Safecracker Javelin’s principle. They feature a broad spearhead covering the first three meters of the lance, extending down into a solid core that provides almost all of the stability and strength. A sturdy framework was built around this core. The two meters after the spearhead are horizontal-facing vents which open up upon command from the cockpit. The vents release fire, piped in through landenium tubes from the reactors in the bases of the lances. The fire shoots forwards, and is usually inside the zoid the lances have speared. There are also vents on the outsides of the bases, which release fire outwards. Only the vents on the bases have any real range, shooting about fifteen meters to the sides.
