Armor Description:The Gorgolauncher, being an old Zoid, and a small one at that, doesn't have much in the way of armor. It's thicker than the Godos' armor, and it covers the entire Zoid, but it's an older material that doesn't hold up as well as the newer alloys, especially against energy weapons like beams. Much of the Zoid's small weight is in its armor, so at the very least, it'll be kind of tough to bring down.
Mobility and Power Source:The Gorgolauncher is like a miniature Gojulas. Feisty and bad-tempered, but not all that maneuverable. Its awkward tail-dragging design limits its mobility, as well as the inflexible limb supports. If the Gorgolauncher gets knocked on its side, it's going to have a hard time getting back up. Fortunately, it's a fairly stable Zoid, like the larger Gojulas. It can reach 110 kph running in a straight line, though it will tire quickly if pushed that hard for too long.
Weaponry and Equipment:Burst MissileEmbedded in the last section of that very large tail is the Burst Missile. It is able to be locked with its own onboard infrared and 3D radar mapping system, and takes approximately three seconds to do so. The tail is able to point almost straight forwards, up and over the Gorgolauncher's head, rather like a scorpion's tail. The missile, when fired, displays excellent accuracy and tenacious tracking capabilities, against either land or aerial targets. It packs a focused, painful blast comparable to the Zabat's smart bomb times 1.5. However, you only get one of these, so use it wisely.
Balkan Beam Cannon x2A pair of automatic beam cannons on the end of the Gorgolauncher's arms. Shielded from the side by plates of armor, these old and nearly obsolete beam cannons were still considered quite excellent in their day. They fire at a repeater-like rate of eight shots per second, and they're very powerful as well, being beam cannons and all. They fire packets of charged particles sheathed in a red containment jacket of laser energy, allowing them to penetrate further into armor before bursting into a heated explosion. While newer, tougher Zoids are able to withstand more fire from them, they're still great weapons on such an old Zoid.
Bite FangsA few very small fangs in the mouth of the Gorgolauncher. They can clamp down with surprising force, and feature a bulldog-like grip if you can get your small jaws around something.
Head SpikeA small alloy spike on the back of the head. Mostly for decoration, it's still pretty sharp, and can hurt them if you really work at it.
Weapon ModeThe Gorgolauncher features the ability to transform into an early version of a Fuzor Zoid. Designed alongside the King Baron, the Gorgolauncher was found able to fuse with it to supply additional firepower. Should the Gorgolauncher wish to fuse, it cannot have a pilot inside, as the head tucks into the chest, along with the legs. It becomes something of a blue box with a huge tail sticking up and over, ready to fire the Burst Missile, with the small forehead spike sticking straight forwards. It's best able to fuse with the King Baron, though it can also fit the Battle Cougar, should the gryphon feel like sacrificing its ability to exceed the speed of sound for a single missile and a pair of beam cannons.
