Custom Zoid Design and Modification
Any and all custom zoids and parts have to go through this forum before they can show up in battle or RP, and new designs require a Customs Part/Zoid Commission Slip. Jumping the gun will result in a penalty. You don't want a penalty.
Be aware that I am by no means 'nice' when I post why your zoid or design failed. In fact, I can get downright rude about it. It's usually for your own good, but I can't help it if I have fun doing it.
However, before I can post my review, you have to post your design. And you use the following format for zoids:
Sol's Preferred Custom Zoid Format

Name: Designation: Height: Length: Weight: Top Speed: Equipment: (Item) (Item)
(History -- Optional, though preferred.) (Physical description)
Armor Description: (A rundown of how tough the armor and structure is.)
Power Source and Mobility: (How agile the zoid is, how well it turns, how flexible it is, and how long it can last in combat are all things that should go in here.)

And for modifications:

1) Thou shalt not not copy somebody else's idea. This is fairly simple. If you saw something that someone else has, and you decide you want it, you have to get their permission. This is not to say that you can't make something that was inspired by another thing, but there has to be difference. I am the judge of difference.
2) Thou shalt not design an entirely new custom zoid based upon an upgrade to a previous zoid. Make it a friggin' mod and save yourself 50,000.
3) Thou shalt not have the sacred trinity. You can't have stealth, a shield, and a CPG on the same zoid. In fact, you can only have one of the above, if the zoid meets proper criterion . . . which are for me to know, and you to figure out.
4) Thou shalt not have bigger guns than me. Don't make a design that's ridiculous. Just don't. 450mm cannons don't belong on a zoid. Flying above Mach 5 is just impossible for a zoid. This site has some basis in physics . . .
5) Thou shalt not exceed Mach 4. In fact, there's really no reason for you to do so. Heck, you probably wouldn't like what happens to you when you pull stupid aerobatics after breaking the sound barrier . . . so don't bother. And ground-based zoids rarely, if ever, break the 400 kph rule. It'll take extensive renovations to an already-fast zoid to do so.
6) Thou shalt not create a zoid solely to be better at (insert combat style here) than (insert name of zoid here) when (the aforementioned zoid) is pretty much the definition of that combat style.
7) Thou shalt not design a zoid that is Uber. It shall have at least one observable weakness, and more may be added as we judge it in combat.
